Title: Healing a Woman Possessed by a Demon
Bible: Luke 13:10-17
2006. 11. 5. Afternoon
1. A woman who suffered from demon possession for 18 years
The woman's condition--sick. My back was bent and I couldn't straighten it out.
People who are obsessed with dating--Spiritual and physical are always very sick and suffering.
He loses his freedom, cannot straighten his back, and lives a life of constant pressure.
What do I look like?
2. The secret of miracles
This woman still heard the word of the Lord in the synagogue.
1) The fact that he was in the synagogue--Where are our seats?
Are you in a place of pleasure and sin? Are you in a position to receive grace?
Seating is important for lucky people. (Psalm 1:1) “I do not walk in the way of the wicked. He does not stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of the scornful.”
Where are you especially on a Sunday? Always be careful.
2) The fact that he met Jesus and heard the word.
Life changes when you meet Jesus.
From misery to happiness From giving up to hope From failure to success From death to life--Hallelujah!
Especially who you meet on a Sunday is also important. When we meet God in the temple on Sundays, hear the words of Jesus, and go out together with the saints we love, we experience miracles in our lives.
3. After receiving the laying on of hands of Jesus, demons leave and become healthy.
The devil and Jesus are the same in that they are both spiritual beings.
Jesus is the Creator, but the devil is a creature.
Jesus has infinite power, but limited fellowship.
Jesus always gives us life and peace, but the devil gives death and misery.
Where Jesus is, the demons leave, and where Jesus is not, the demons reign.
