Sermons for Preaching

Title: Healthy Faith (1 Peter 2:1-5)

1) We must eat God's word well. (1 Peter 2:2-3)

To be a healthy person, you need to eat well and digest well. 1 Peter 2:2 tells us to lust after pure, spiritual milk. A saint is a new born spiritually born again. Therefore, it was called pure ( ) and spiritual ( ) milk. The word pure means truth without deceit, and the spiritual is the milk of the Word. (1) There must be a taste for this word. (3) A taste for taste means knowing the taste. (2) You must digest it with faith. (3) You must eat a lot. The food of the world can be damaged by overeating. But the bread of life is not like that. If a person wants to live a long life and use his strength, his digestive function should not be weak. This year should also be a year in which we lose a lot of the Word and meditate on it so that it becomes flesh and blood in my soul.

2) We must renounce evil habits (1 Peter 2:1).

You don't see it in your health and you think it's not good, but it's your habits that have a big impact. A healthy lifestyle is said to be a decisive factor in determining health. It means to abandon bad habits, which is a right lifestyle, and to adopt good habits. Therefore, spiritual health is useless. It is important to let go of things that are not beneficial. A lot of people say it's not good and they can't throw it away. So, the body is exhausted from the disease. For spiritual health (1), we must cast away malice in our hearts. (2) We must cast away the evil of our actions. (Deceit, hypocrisy, envy)

3) You must have good thoughts.

Negative thoughts create and carry all kinds of diseases in the soul and body. However, a person who lives positively, brightly, and warmly becomes an act of strengthening one's body and mind. Laughing boosts your metabolism and prevents acidification in your body. That is why the saints of our country called it il-no-il-no (一怒一老), one-so-one-so (一笑 一少). A person who thinks negatively has no laughter. Instead of anger and complaining. And it will be full of sorrow. Colossians 3:1-4/ Think of things above and not things on earth. what's on top? speaks of God's thoughts. It means to think about what God wants and what God wants you to do with grace. We must have good thoughts in our hearts so that we can have children of happiness. You can predict the future of a person by looking at what they think. Philippians 2:13/ It is said that God has placed your desires in you for the purpose of his good pleasure in you. Therefore, we must live with good thoughts in our hearts. Even if life is difficult, you should live with good thoughts, good wishes, and good goals.

4) Breathe well.

5) You must exercise well.
