Title: Heaven's Fruit
Title: Fruit of the Kingdom (Matthew 21:33-46)
What we consider to be our vocation is the fruit of the kingdom of heaven. More specifically, it is believing that the Lord is my Savior and my Father, who has entrusted me with this task, that He protects me, becomes my life, and leads me to heaven.
Today's text sees those who throw away the cornerstone.
42 Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the scriptures, The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone, and this was done by the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes?"
Here, the publicans and prostitutes are proving that what they believe is the fruit of the kingdom of heaven. That's right. The fruit of the kingdom of heaven is believing in the Lord
The Lord speaks figuratively of the fruits of the kingdom of heaven.
33Listen to another parable. A householder built a vineyard, hedged it, built a press and built a tower, rented it to farmers, and went to a foreign country. 35 and the peasants seized the servants, beat one badly, killed the other, and stoned the other with stones.
It is only natural that the owner of the household here wants to receive the fruit as the harvest time is near. To help this fruit was to find out whether or not you knew the owner of the household well.
What is the relationship between the housekeeper and the worker on a daily basis?
Ephesians 6:5 “Slaves, obey your masters of the flesh with fear and trembling and with sincerity in sincerity, as to Christ.”
It is just as the master-slave relationship is the Christ-slave relationship. Servant is doulos in Greek. Biblically speaking, slave has no ownership. 2. Servant has no sovereignty. A slave does not do anything according to his own will, but according to his master's will. The three servants are those who do not work for themselves, but for their master.
It is the relationship between master and slave in the Bible.
The farmers of the vineyard did not know the owner, but when they harvested the fruit, they sent their servants to the farmers to receive the fruit.
They are really stupid people. Indeed, they did not know who the owner of the vineyard was.
They even sent a son, but he did not respect him. 38 When the peasants saw him, they said to each other, “This is the heir, let’s kill him and take possession of his inheritance.”
The owner of the vineyard was God, and his son was Jesus. They did not know God and persecuted their servants because of their covetousness.
However, the peasants did not know who the owner was, and because the son was the heir, they tried to kill the son and claim the inheritance.
In the Gospel of Matthew, when Jesus was born and he was about to kill him, Jesus fled to Egypt, then came to the land of Israel and lived in the town of Nazareth.
3:1 At that time John the Baptist came and preached in the wilderness of Judea, saying, “Repent twice, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” 3 He spoke through the prophet Isaiah, saying, “There was a voice of one crying in the wilderness, saying, Prepare ye the way of the Lord. make straight the way for him to come.
5 At that time they came to him from Jesus Salem, and from all Judea, and from all around the Jordan, 6 confessing their sins, and being baptized by him in the Jordan. 7 When John saw many Pharisees and Sadducees coming to the place of baptism, he said, "Viper Children of God, who taught you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Therefore bear fruit worthy of repentance, 9 Do not think within yourselves that Abraham is our father.
10 The ax is already laid at the root of the trees; every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.
43 Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a people that will produce its fruits.
This fruit is the fruit of the kingdom of heaven. The fact that these fruits are the descendants who truly care about Abraham, God created the heavens and the earth, and believing that his Son Jesus died on the cross for us and rose from the dead on the third day to forgive and save our sins, the kingdom of heaven Fruit. When we bear this fruit, we become the people of the kingdom of heaven and come to the kingdom of heaven.
But the peasants, the Pharisees, the scribes, and the priests, killed the son and threw away the cornerstone.
But God made the rejected stone the corner stone and brought judgment on it.
44 Whoever falls on this stone will be shattered, and whoever falls on this stone will break it, and if this stone falls on a person, he will be ground to dust.
You cannot be saved by blood and flesh. I hope that you will be born again by faith only and believe that the Lord is my savior, that He is the Son of God, and that when you live a life of walking with Him, you will bear the fruits of the kingdom of heaven.
