“Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me… ” (Matthew 10:40-41)
The most prestigious award in the world is the Nobel Prize. More than 500 awards have been awarded so far, and most of them are those who will remain in the history of the world. The prize money is more than 200,000 dollars, but the honor given to the Nobel laureates is even greater. You become a global figure at once. Winners will be honored not only individually, but also nationally.
How much more will God's reward be? A prize and honor that cannot be compared with the Nobel Prize is given. With God's reward comes the elevation of one's status as a child of God. Heaven is a gift. You gain eternal glory, not temporary glory. Not only this, but there are also blessings given to the soul. Gifts of love, peace, joy, comfort, hope, faith, trust, and various spiritual gifts are given.
God's reward is completely separate from salvation. We have already been saved and become God's children and citizens of heaven, but God wants us to give you abundant life through reward. Therefore, how much reward we receive from God is an important factor in determining our quality of life.
I hope you will live diligently looking at the reward of God like the seniors of faith. How can we receive a heavenly reward, a heavenly reward? There is only one reason why the saints receive a reward from God. In other words, all rewards are determined according to the reception and hospitality of Christ. There is only one evaluation criterion. It's not a big achievement, it's not a status, it's not an honor. It is only serving Christ.
Treat the Lord well. Treat the Lord to the Lord through worship, through spiritual fellowship that reveals everything in life to the Lord, through prayer, acknowledging the Lord as the master of life and discussing everything, and obeying the Word of God and understanding.
