Text: Luke 16:19-31 (Luke)

19. There is a rich man who wears purple and fine linen and communicates in luxury every day.

20. A beggar named Lazarus, with boils, lay at the rich man's gate.

21. When he was about to be satisfied with what fell from the rich man's table, even dogs came and licked the boils.

22. And the beggar died, and was carried by angels into Abraham's bosom, and the rich man also died and was buried.

23. And in Hades, in torment, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off and Lazarus in his bosom.

24. He called and said, “Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am troubled in this flame.

25. Abraham said, "Son, in your lifetime you received your good things, and Lazarus suffered. Remember this: Now here he is comforted, and you are troubled."

26. Not only this, but there is a great gulf between you and us, who wished to cross over to you from here, but could not, and could not come from there to us.

27. And he said, "Then I beg you, Father, send Lazarus to my father's house."

28. I have five brothers, so let them bear witness, so that they do not come to this place of torment.

29. And Abraham said, They have Moses and the prophets; listen to them.

30. And he said, It is not so. Father Abraham, if anyone comes to them from the dead, they will repent.

31. He said, "If they will not listen to Moses and the prophets, they will not be persuaded, even if someone rises from the dead."

Title: Heaven and Hell

1. The rich and the beggar Lazarus

This rich man was a wealthy Jew who was living feasting every day, enjoying luxury and luxury that the world would not envy. Even now, the rich are suffering from hypertrophy and the poor are starving to death around the world. Being rich is never a sin. God also wants to give you spiritual, physical, mental, and economic blessings. It's just a matter of how you use the wealth God has given you.

Just because Lazarus suffered on this earth did not mean he entered Paradise. The beggar Lazarus lived his life with the central idea of worshiping God's chosen people even among the beggars. When the rich don't even feel the need to think about God, beggars think of the Lord their God in the midst of suffering and endure the pain together with the Lord without losing the thought of the chosen people. So first, the soul must be well.

2. Who are the descendants of Abraham?

But after this rich man's luxurious business, his soul was sprung, separated, and dragged to hell. The spiritual world allows only spiritual people to believe in the Holy Spirit. Where is Hell? It is assigned to the spiritual world after death and is like a magnet of great power, and just as it attracts all small and large metals, Hell is a pit of tremendous power that sucks up all the sins of sinful people from the size of a fingernail to a mass of sin. To pay the price for their sins, they are dragged into hell by a whirlwind-like force. If you look at this tsunami, it will make a little more sense.

Look at Japan's great earthquake and nuclear power plant explosion. This is what Hell is supposed to look like. This is an example that shows us proudly as a taster. God is the master of this world. The protagonists of Japan, who built an economic powerhouse, do not have drugs, and their science and materials are now irrelevant. A doctor is missing in the hospital, and electricity is not supplied, so the respirator is on and then stopped, howling helplessly, and dying while groaning. If we enter heaven, it is our hometown, which is forever stopped by that rest and happiness.
