Heaven, Children's World

Text: Luke 18:15~17

Key Verse: Allow little children to come to me, and do not forbid them. For these are the kingdom of God. (:17b)

There is a book called ?My Friend Henry? This book was written by Nuala Gardner, and is the true story of Nuala, who has a child, Dale, who suffers from amnesia, after treatment.

The main character in this book, Dale, has severe autism.

It is common to shoot, “You idiot, you need to get some shots of that guy.”

The author's mother, Nuala, sobs, says:

“It’s unfortunate that you guys point your fingers at disabled children!”

Nuala vows as she hugs her husband Jamie.

“We will never give up. We're going to get our child back at any cost."

However, even after 2 or 3 years, the child does not get better.

Then one day, a puppy named ‘Henry’ enters the house.

The dog was always with Dale. But after a puppy named ‘Henry’ comes in, Dale starts to change little by little.

Throwing toys, stumbling and messing around that day as usual.

At this point, Daddy Jamie crawls up like Henry and tells Dale.

“Dale, I am Henry. I hate when you do Can't you stop?"

Amazing things happen. Dale says as he regains composure.

“Okay, Henry. Sorry"

After a while,

Dale greets his parents for the first time since he was born.

"good night. Dad mom"

What made Dale's mouth call Jamie and Nuala Daddy and Mommy?

What won Dale's heart?

Today is Children's Day.

Through the children, we will learn how we can occupy the kingdom of heaven and win the heart of Jesus.

The text says that heaven is the world of little children.

Characteristics of children

First, it doesn't matter.

In Luke 19:1-10, we see a man named Zacchaeus.

He is short, ugly, but has a rich job and a rich family.

But one day he heard that Jesus was passing through Jericho, where he lived.

I wanted to see who he was.

But there are too many people and Jesus is about to pass by.

Zacchaeus runs forward and crawls up onto the mulberry tree standing by the roadside.

But Jesus arrives there.

And he looks at you and says.

“Come down here. I have to stay at your house today.”

Upon hearing this, Zacchaeus hurried down.

I don't know what to do because I like it with a single smile. And welcome you into your home.

At this time, Jesus speaks.

Salvation has come to this house today.

Like Zacchaeus, we may have wealth but no one around.

How can we solve this problem?

Climb the mulberry tree.

There you will find Jesus.

I hope you will overcome face, pride, people's eyes, and all the disturbances around you and climb your mulberry tree.

Jesus walks under the tree. There he will call your name.

And when you meet Jesus, all your problems will be solved.

Second, do what you are told.

In 1 Samuel 2:3, we see the child Samuel.

Little Samuel is sleeping in the temple one day when he hears a voice.

Run to the priest and say, I am here. I have been called. (1 Samuel 3:5)

But Eli did not call the priest, so go and sleep. do

And I hear a voice calling out to me, Samuel.

He gets up again and runs to say. I am here. Did you call? (1 Samuel 3:6)

no. go back to sleep

But again a voice is heard.

He gets up again and runs and says. I am here. He called. (1 Samuel 3:8)

no. I didn't call.

This time, go ahead and say this when you hear a voice.

Speak, and your servant will listen.

I go back to sleep and hear the voice again. Samuel!

Little Samuel says what the priest Eli has told him to do.

“Speak, and your servant will hear.”

God gave Samuel a vision and made him the great leader of Israel.

But looking at this Samuel in the Bible, he says:

“It was favored by the Lord and men” (1 Samuel 2:26).

God's grace and blessings are not given according to the position.

It does not mean giving favors because the conditions are favorable or the conditions are favorable.

In terms of location and conditions, Hophni and Phinehas, the sons of the priest Eli, are much more favorable and favorable.

But God gives young Samuel some grace.

The secret is ‘because I did what I was told’

The reason Samuel repeats the same thing three times is that no matter how many times he repeats the same request, he must obey God's request.

At this time, God gives grace.

That is why you raised him to be the leader of the nation of Israel.

Third, there is no calculation.

In John 6:5 and below, the miracles of two fish and five barley loaves are described.

More than 20,000 people. The place is an empty field. The sun is setting. It is time to eat. Jesus tells his disciples to give them something to eat.

At this time, a disciple named Philip speaks. If you have more than 20 million won, you can buy rice.

At this time, a child gives five barley loaves and two fish to a disciple named Andrew.

Andrew, who received the lunch box, said to Jesus.

Jesus, there is a lunch box for a child here, but isn't it enough with this?

After receiving the bread and meat, Jesus blessed and distributed it, but 20,000 people ate, and the remaining 12 baskets were filled.

When Jesus' disciples heard Jesus' words, they counted.

It costs 20 million won. How much would this be?

But the little boy gave Jesus five barley loaves and two fish.

Then, a miracle happened.

Saints!

Are there things ahead of you that are beyond your ability?

Don't count like a child, but give Jesus what you have now.

Then, the work will be resolved by God's grace, and the remaining works will occur.

We can learn from little children.

First, how can we occupy the heart of God?

don't sweat the water

Do what you're told

don't count

Second, you must become a child to receive the blessings of heaven.

happy.

get used

Solve problems and solve problems for others.

The best families in America are the Rockefellers.

Rockefeller, the founder of this family, was a man with a childish heart.

He kept and kept the 10 wills of faith that his mother left him for the rest of his life.

1. Serve God as your Father

2. Serve the pastor after God

3. Always keep your tithing in your right pocket

4. Do not make enemies

5. Always sit in the front seat during worship.

6. Always set a goal for the day in the morning and pray to God

7. Be sure to reflect on the day and pray before going to bed.

8. If you can help others, do your best to help.

9. Be sure to have Sunday worship at this church

10. Read the Word first thing in the morning

He does these 10 things.

It doesn't even count.

Do what you're told.

And I do it regardless of the water.

As a result, he makes the best family in the world.

Heaven is occupied by people like children.
