Title: Heaven! definitely have to go in
Contents
Text: Matthew 11:12
Dr. John E. Zoller, at the outset of his book Theory of Heaven, said, “The great tragedy of our time is that many Christians forget Heaven.” This is indeed a big deal. So today's sermon title is "Heaven! You definitely have to go in.”
①Is there a heaven? And ② The question of whether I can go to heaven if I die right now should be confirmed with more certainty than if you are alive now, and you will have to pursue it more than the pursuit of happiness.
In the book “Heaven Is Sure”, written by a Korean-American woman named 'Thomas Junam', in 1992, after starting to believe in Jesus, the spiritual things he experienced, along with the numerous aspects of heaven that the Lord showed him many times, were shown twice. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ; I testify of the things you have given me about hell.
In a nutshell, "Heaven is a wonderful place indeed." That's right. Heaven is truly a mysterious and wonderful place. First of all, it is mysterious and amazing that it is a place where we live forever, that Jesus is our bridegroom and friend is mysterious and wonderful, and that we are happy and content there forever is mysterious and surprising.
First of all, Heaven is really bright.
“It has no need for the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God may shine upon it, and the Lamb (Jesus Christ) has become his lamp” (Revelation 22:23; Revelation 23:5). Yes, heaven is different from this world. This world is full of spiritual darkness. Darkness, this appearance You cannot go to heaven in this way (Rev 21:8, 20:15, 21:27. 22:15). Therefore, in Matthew 7:13 (Luke 13:24), Jesus said: “Enter through the narrow gate, for the gate is wide and the road is broad that leads to destruction, and many go in by it; but narrow and stray is the gate that leads to life, and few find it.”
When we end our life as strangers in this world, the place we go is divided. is it heaven? hell? In today's text, he said, "The kingdom of heaven is taken by violent men." Heaven’s ‘violencers’ can be translated as ‘courageous’ and ‘very determined people’ Machi is also an expression of “powerful people rushing toward the impending heaven”.
Dr. Schweitzer, in his book My Life and Thoughts, decided to give up three things for God when he went to the African jungle.
First of all, I decided to give up Bach's music.
Then he gave up his professorship at a famous university.
And I gave up on the guaranteed comfortable life of playing and writing.
However, as the years passed, he confessed that God had granted him greater honor, power, and material things.
That's right. We must give up for the sake of the Lord, for the kingdom of heaven, and for the gospel.
But the reality is not. The Lord wants us to love agape, but people are only interested in Eros. The spirit is the most precious, the soul is the most precious, and the flesh is precious, but people do not care about the spirit and want to live only for the body. Dear brothers and sisters, all you have to do is to live centered on the soul that is more precious than the body, the kingdom of heaven more precious than the world, the church more precious than any other gatherings in the world, and Jesus who is more precious than me.
Second, the kingdom of heaven is truly vast.
Some people say, 'The hell is full of people, so you can't enter (the case is full)'. But heaven and hell are not of this world. It is an eternal world. This world is no longer worthy of existence if it fulfills the purpose for which God created it. How vast would this world be if life were only for a while as a stranger?
How wide is heaven? It is a vast and expansive place that cannot be measured by all.
Jesus also said in John 14:1-6, “In my Father’s house are many dwelling places… I am going to prepare a place for you … I will come again and receive you to Me, that where I am, you may be also.”
Heaven is there. Amen. The kingdom of God, the kingdom of heaven, is an infinitely vast kingdom (heavenly). We, believers, live there, being attended by angels. No worries, no worries, no need or poverty, no hatred or envy, no thieves and robbers, no tears and mourning, no sickness and death, the heavenly kingdom where Jesus reigns, joy and thanksgiving. It is a place filled with only hymns and happiness, and various fruits and flowers are in full bloom. All of us saints must enter this heaven. Amen.
Third, Heaven is truly beautiful.
In Revelation 21:11-21, the kingdom of heaven was “like a precious jewel and clear as jasper and crystal. … The twelve gates were twelve pearls; each gate was one pearl, and the way was pure gold like clear glass.” I did. No other jewel in this world compares to a piece of cake in comparison with that of heaven.
