Title: Heavenly Father's Heart
Contents
In Luke 15, there are three parables. The lost sheep, the parable of the lost coin, the story of finding a lost son... . What is the Lord trying to tell us through these three stories? It expresses the heart of God looking for lost souls.
One of them is the parable of finding the lost sheep. A man had 100 sheep. I count the sheep and I don't see a single one. He left the 99 sheep in the field and went looking for the one. What is the rating of a smart person? What if one of the remaining 99 sheep runs away? What if the wolf comes and eats the sheep? But that's not how God looks at us. One is more precious than 99. Mathematically, it makes no sense. If you think about it for a bit, you'll soon find out.
Is the life of everyone on this planet more precious or is my life more precious? The 99 sheep that the Lord speaks of is the life of all people on this earth. And one sheep is my life. my life is the most precious It is saying that the Lord loves me so much. True love cannot be explained by mathematics. Even if you give life to the whole world, you love me so much that you will not change me. A mature person will come to know the heart of God and to be able to count.
What is the heart of Heavenly Father that mature people can comprehend? When I am a little immature, I think that God only loves me. By realizing the mystery of God's love, I come to know that God not only loves me, but also loves others equally. When I see people who do not know God while realizing that they are happy because of me, I realize that I feel sorry for them.
That is reflected in the parable of the lost son. eldest son, life is going well. He lives in obedience to his father. But the second son is like a fool and pursues pleasure. live in vain Then he leaves the house with his father's property. The father is eagerly waiting for his son to return. But the eldest son does not understand it. When the younger son returned, he was so happy that he did not know the heart of the father. Why? Because I'm immature...
It seems that the eldest son is not at fault, but there is a crucial one. He did not know the heart of a father looking for his lost brother. He could not comprehend the heart of a father who was worried about his child leaving home.
Jesus also clearly revealed the purpose of his coming to this earth. “The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Yes. Just as Jesus came to this earth, so is the purpose of God's salvation... … And I believe that the purpose of leaving life on this earth is to save lost souls because there are souls who need to return through us.
If you do not understand the purpose of your existence well, try to evangelize by changing your thinking. If you evangelize, you will clearly understand why you are living. If you evangelize, you will understand why God sent you to this earth and saved you. Those who realize this will have a burning faith and will be filled with the hope of heaven.
