Heavenly Hallelujah Praise / Revelation 19:1-10
This is the Bible that testifies to the new world of heaven after God's final judgment is over with the seven bowl plagues. The festival of praise that takes place in the Millennium Kingdom ruled by Jesus Christ is the evidence of today's Bible. This judgment is carried out with the trumpet of the seventh angel, and the final judgment of the earth ended with the seventh bowl. Through the judgment, the world of the Antichrist will be completely destroyed, and a joyful and exciting world will unfold by the people of God.
They couldn't help but praise with their lips open. “There was like a loud voice in heaven of a great multitude, saying, Hallelujah, to our God the salvation and the glory and the power” (1) John describes the singers and their praises three times. Today's Bible consists of the praises of angels, the 24 elders, the praises of the four living creatures, and the universal anthem.
first praise
“After these things I heard, like a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, Hallelujah, salvation and glory and power are with our God, for his judgments are true and righteous. He has repaid his hand” (1,2). One is that salvation, glory, and power belong to our God, and the second is praise for the judgment of the whore. The first hymn only says that the praisers are a great crowd. Perhaps it refers to all the saints who have been saved, angels, the 24 elders, and all beings in heaven, including the four living creatures.
If we look closely at the contents, we praise God's salvation first, and that salvation refers to the absolute salvation that only God has. It is the only salvation. No one can replace it. Second, praise the glory of God. It glorifies creation, government, and providence. Third, praise the power of God. It is to praise the power of saving the saints and ruling and judging the world. Fourth, we praise true judgment. Praise for the judgment of the great harlot. Finally, we praise you for the vindication of the blood of martyrdom. We praise you as the God who takes revenge on the martyred servants of the Lord and hears their prayers.
second praise
“The second time he said, “Hallelujah.” And the smoke rose for ever and ever. The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, “Amen, hallelujah.” A voice came from the throne, saying, “Servants of God, you who fear Him, small and small, All praise our God.” (3-5) This is the praise of the 24 elders and the four living creatures. “The smoke rises for ever and ever,” he praises. It praises the complete destruction of the forces of the Antichrist by God's righteous judgment. (Isa 34:10) “Neither day nor night it will not go out, and its smoke will rise constantly, and it will be a desolate waste for all ages, and no one will pass by it forever.” We invite you to let us go. Here, the ‘voice of the throne’ can be seen as the voice of the 24 elders or angels.
third praise
(Verses 6-9) can be said to be a song in response to the voice that asked us to praise. It is the hymn of the 144,000 who have been saved. ‘Many crowds, many sounds of water, and loud thunders’ are words spoken by all the saints who have been saved. The reasons why the saints praise can be divided into four categories.
1. God's Reign
“Our God Almighty reigns; let us rejoice and rejoice with great joy, and give him glory” (6:7) We will have great rejoicing and joy on that day. We are now living a life of hope that glorifies the Lamb as we look at this new world that will appear in the future. God is a perfect ruler, not like the king of the world. Tyrant, dictator is now completely gone. There is only the Lord's perfect and gracious reign. Naturally, his reign is to be praised.
2. Wedding Feast of the Lamb
It is said that the marriage covenant of the Lamb has arrived. The equation that God is husband and Israel is wife leads to the relationship between Jesus and the church. Also, this is the relationship between Jesus and the saints. It is said, “His wife has prepared her.” God prepared the wedding feast of the Lamb. God cannot judge the earth with the seventh trumpet unless he prepares his wives to participate in the marriage supper of the Lamb. These are already white-clad crowds, drawn out from all over the world. (Rev 7:9) “After these things I saw a great multitude, which no one could number, from every nation, tribe, people, and tongue, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands” 7:14) “I said, “You know, my lord.” He said to me, “These are those who come out of the great tribulation, and have washed their garments and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.” God prepares a wife to be the bride of the Lamb in advance like this and opens the banquet of the Lamb.
3. Linen clothes
He put a clean linen cloth on the prepared wife, and he said that the linen was the right deeds of the saints. Linen is the garment worn by the Lamb's wives. You can never take part in the feast without wearing this garment. Linen clothes are the clothes of the saints and are also the clothes of the heavenly army. It is the clothes of the general of the Church of Heaven and 144,000 clothes. It means that those who are qualified to become the Lamb's wife must adorn themselves with right deeds. Right deeds refer to repentance and fruit. They must wash their clothes and make them white in the blood of the Lamb, and bear fruit worthy of their repentance.
4. Invited Feast
No matter how grand the feast may be, we will not be happy if we are not invited. But the multitudes praise them because they are invited. “The angel said to me, Write, Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb.” And he said to me, “This is the true word of God.” (9) Blessed are those who are invited to this feast. . This wedding feast is a completely different story from this world. It is a feast in a whole new world because there is no sin, curse, and death, and even Satan keeps him bound and imprisoned in the abyss for a thousand years.
An invitation to a completely different, complete and happy world, that is what it means to be invited to this feast. I can't help but praise you for being invited to enjoy a thousand years of life in this world. Therefore, blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb (verse 9). John was so moved that he fell down at the angel's feet to worship. Because it was so thrilling.
spirit of prophecy
“I fell at his feet to worship him, and he said to me, ‘I am a slave like you and your brothers who have received the testimony of Jesus. Do not be so, but worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. 10) The angel who stopped John from falling down tells us to worship only God. Afterwards, the word ‘Spirit of Prophecy’ is delivered. Here we must know that even angels cannot be worshiped. How much less would Mary be worshiped? Would the saints or the Pope be the object of worship?
We give glory and worship only to God who called us as brides, and we know how to believe and obey only the testimony of Jesus, that is, the word of God, delivered through the Spirit of prophecy. The Word and the Holy Spirit testify that we are thankful for the salvation of the saints and prepare for the wedding feast of the Lamb. I believe that we should always give glory to God with thanksgiving. Hallelujah! Let's not forget that this praise is the praise of all of us.
