Sermons for Preaching

Title: Heavenly Movement

14] James

1:12 - You will receive the promised crown of life.

James usually places a lot of emphasis on action. Then why do we require faith with works?

2:5 "Did not he not inherit the kingdom promised to those who loved him?"

Here, James emphasizes the kingdom of heaven to the hypocritical and formalized church members.

Isn't the kingdom of God before you?

But why are you being greedy and being deceived by the things of the world, becoming slaves of material things and hurting the hearts of others?

5:7-9 Conclusion

Therefore, brethren, be patient until the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and is patient, waiting for the early and the latter rain. 8 Be patient on the way and be strong, too, for the coming of the Lord is near.

9 Brethren, do not grumble against one another, that you may escape judgment. Behold, the Judge is standing outside the door.

Because it is near that we will stand before him through the kingdom of the Lord and the second coming of Jesus Christ, you should not live carelessly.

Because there is a day when the kingdom of God and its glory and we will stand before God, we must not live by formal faith.

What if people know and what if they don't? All we have to do is work to fulfill God's plan with what He has given us.

&) During the eschatology, not only look at Matthew 24, but in Matthew 25, what values should those who wait for the Second Coming live? In chapter 25, the Lord is teaching us what kind of realistic life we should live. Those who believe in Matthew 24 and wait for the coming of the Lord must live the life of Chapter 25.

Then there are three things taught in Matthew 25.

1) Don't become a believer who only has a lamp without oil.

Believers without the Holy Spirit. Unsaved believers who cannot be born again. A believer who has only an outer shell of faith, but does not really have the Spirit of God inside.

Let's keep in mind that the essence of the Holy Spirit movement is to be born again.

It's not a mystery movement.

If you faithfully participate only in the worship time set in the church, the oil of grace will not dry up inside you.

2) The parable of the talents is to live a life with a mission.

That is, to become a person who does something.

Because when the Lord comes, you will be rewarded.

According to the abilities and talents given to them, those who can stand in front and serve directly do so, and those who are not able to do so, comfort and encourage them from behind, and commit themselves to doing something for the kingdom and gospel of God according to the talents and circumstances they have been given to them. It means to be yourself.

3) Sharing

As the end times come, people become utterly selfish.

Sharing with those who are suffering, sharing what I have and what I have been given.

He said that what you did to the little boy, you did to Jesus.

It is very important to live sharing with those who suffer for the sake of the gospel and with the whole world and the whole country.

It is in the writings of the apostles that the above content appears repeatedly.

The most important things they revealed are the coming kingdom of God and Jesus Christ.

The focus of the apostles' writings is to live rightly so that we can stand right before Him.
