The life of faith (Hebrews 11:6)
John 10:10 Jesus said that I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly. In many cases, Christians are living powerless lives. Sometimes a Christian lives in chains as if wrapped around a non-venomous snake. We live by missing out on the blessings God has given us because of our circumstances and circumstances. We live with our feelings. In the Christian life, the secret of living by faith is precious. 1 John 5:4 says that it is faith in Christ that overcomes the world. Without faith there is no growth, no joy, no satisfaction.
1. Life of Faith
God wants us to live by faith.
Hebrews 11:6 - Faith is absolutely necessary to please God.
Colossians 2:6 - We receive Jesus by faith and grow in faith. We receive salvation through faith, walk with the Lord, and become like Him. grow in faith
Hab 2:4 - The righteous will live by their faith.
Luke 7:9 - Jesus is pleased with the centurion who shows his faith.
Matthew 8:26 - Jesus rebukes the disciples for their lack of faith.
Romans 14:23, Matthew 13:58 - Without faith we can hinder the work of God.
God wants us to live and make decisions by faith.
When did you make a decision with faith?
Jesus did not perform miracles because of the unbelief of the less-believing disciples.
2. Biblical Faith
Faith is a Greek word that means obedience and trust.
Hebrews 11:1 - Faith has three important elements.
1) Knowledge
To have faith, you must know. Christ's faith has an object, not a feeling. It is God, God's promise, and God Himself. We must have faith that acknowledges God in our faith. How can we know God? the bible says In other words, 'You must know who God is in the Word of God'
2) Facts about God
You must actually believe in God.
3) Activities
Not only do we need to know and understand biblical knowledge, we must put it into action.
3. Consequences of Faith
There is a child on the second floor of a two-story house on fire. The child knows that the fireman standing to receive from below is a strong man. The child knows he's down there, but he needs to have faith that he can receive him.
1) It pleases God (Hebrews 11:6).
God is most pleased when we have faith. Fathers are happiest when their children trust their father. God is pleased with the confession of faith that is at the center of us.
2) You can do great things (Hebrews 11:33-34).
4. Growing Faith
In the big circle, there are parts where each person depends on God. Outside of that circle, there are parts in which he cannot rely on God. The parts outside the circle are not by my own strength, but by the Lord giving me strength to change them. So the parts that do not depend on God outside of the circle go into the circle one by one
will come in This is the growth of our faith in God.
God wants our faith to grow. So, he creates an environment to give him faith. God gives us strength when we challenge an environment we have never tried before. God changes us by moving our environment and background.
Are you living a life of faith?
Which parts do you trust and which parts do you disbelieve? Think of the things you disbelieve in any part of.
1) Fear - Fear is God's message to have faith. God responds to faith, not fear. I have personally delivered the message for over 20 years, but I always had a fear when standing in front of the public. I received this as a message from God to build faith. What are you most afraid of? Turn it into faith.
2) Life oriented to Jesus Christ
You must know who Jesus Christ is and believe in Him.
Pray to God to expand your faith. Leave my challenges to God and pray that God will turn our fears and concerns into faith.
Prayer> Thank you, God. You are omnipotent and faithful. I entrust my life. Grow my faith and let our faith dispel fears and worries. Grant me faith to glorify you
