Title: Help Me, O God.

Contents

"Do not be far from me, O LORD, my strength, help me quickly."

Reformer Martin Luther was faced with numerous dangers and fears while promoting early reforms. At that moment, Luther sat idly and dazed, and with his finger on the table, 'Vivid! Vivid!’ (He is alive! He is alive!). Although he was a weak being without any strength or power, he relied on the fact that God to help him live. Everyone was on the Pope's side, and all circumstances and conditions were against him, yet he knew the source of his strength and power. The Reformation could only be possible on the basis of one reformer's sincere confession of faith toward God, saying, "God lives!"

Even on a terrifying day when dark clouds cover the sky and thunder and lightning strike, few people live with the realization that the sun is still floating above the clouds. I ask for help and ask for help, but I often find myself in situations where I feel like I'm the only one. But then we have work to do. It is all about stopping and praying. Living God, sending a signal of rescue to God who is our strength and power.

The God we meet in the Bible is the one who helps us.

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains, where shall my help come from? My help is from the LORD, who made heaven and earth. The LORD will not cause you to stumble, and the one who keeps you will not sleep. The one who keeps Israel neither sleeps nor sleeps. The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade at your right hand. The sun by day will not harm you, nor the moon by night. The LORD will protect you from all trouble; He will guard your soul. from now to everlasting” (Psalm 121:1-8).

“Do not be afraid, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)

I hope you have hope in the Lord as you depend on God. I hope you will come to God diligently. God gives us the wisdom and power of victory. I hope you will seek God earnestly. With the help of Almighty Lord, I hope that you will overcome the harsh world and lead a blessed life where you always win.

* Prayer: Help me, O God, my refuge. Help me, O God, not to seek help for peace in this world, but I pray that you will help me from the forces that seek my life. Even if life in the world is difficult and difficult, even if I am driven by all powers, I hope that God will help me. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen
