Title Today Here / Luke 7:11-17
The town of Nain is located about 16 km southeast of Nazareth, where Jesus was born.
When Jesus was looking for this town, there was a procession where a young man died and was buried. Jesus had compassion on him, stopped the funeral procession, and then raised the young man to life. The locals called Jesus “the great prophet.” Was it really a proper name for Jesus? I think it was the best title they could call at that time, but I think it is an inappropriate title for Jesus, who came as the Messiah. ???
※ You must live well. Let's live well when we have the chance.
It seems that the young man or his mother lived a life worthy of recognition in the neighborhood. Many people in the neighborhood mourned the death of their son and participated in the funeral procession, so I think you can gauge their lives to some extent.
Dying is a problem. But I don't think it's a big deal. The big problem is that the Lord is not with us. Because even if you die, you will live if the Lord is there.
here today!
First. We must meet the Lord, Jesus.
In order for the dead to come back to life, they must meet the Lord. I want to meet Jesus as the center of each individual during this time.
The young man is dead and is being transported to the grave. But when you meet Jesus, you come to life. We meet so many people, but there is no one around us who can prolong our lives or save us after we die.
(Mark 5:26) “I suffered much from many physicians, and all that I had was wasted, but there was no benefit, and it was getting worse.”
(Luke 8:43) “Then there was a woman who had been suffering from bleeding for twelve years, and was not healed by anyone.”
Look. There are a lot of doctors around this woman who promised to heal her, but don't they just waste money and write that the disease only got worse?
There were many people around the young man who wanted to save him, but there was no one who shortened him by extending his life or setting him free from death.
In order for your family to live, you must meet Jesus.
In order for your company to revive, you must meet Jesus.
The national economy of this Japanese land is not saved by economic doctors or businessmen. Neither scientists nor politicians save lives.
Look at the Tower of Babel incident in Genesis 11. You tried to prevent people from scattering like that, but when God scatters, the tower collapses, the people scatter, and even the language creates chaos.
You have to protect Jesus, and you have to bring Jesus in.
second. touching the coffin.
It is unclean to touch a dead body.
(Leviticus 21:11) "You shall not come near to any corpse, nor be defiled by your parents."
(Numbers 19:13) "Anyone who touches a dead man's body and does not cleanse himself defiles the tabernacle of the LORD, and he will be cut off from Israel because he does not sprinkle the water of purification on him, so he cannot be cleansed, and his uncleanness. Inira"
But if it comes back to life when touched, that's fine.
When Jesus touched the coffin of the dead young man, the young man came to life.
Please earnestly yearn for the touch of Jesus here at this time.
(Praise Holy Spirit, touch me!)
Lord, touch my parched heart here at this hour!! Touch my home where love has grown cold!
Lord, put your hand on my heart that has grown cold! Restore me with living faith!!
I have to live If I live before the church wants me to live, I will live. Hallelujah!
Pastor, I don't say that I have to live spiritually, but I have to live.
third. We must hear the voice of the Lord and rise.
Even if they are alive, they must become active members rather than those who only pray.
The saints who show actions without words rather than those who only speak are the saints for the church.
Living saints are those who know what pleases God and act.
(Romans 12:1-2) “Therefore, brethren, I beseech you by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. do not receive it, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, which is good, acceptable, and perfect.”
The town was happy because the young man was alive. The extreme sadness became the unspeakable joy of the whole. When I change, the world around me changes. When I live, I live around me. Amen
The environment does not make the man, but the man makes the environment.
It is not the place that makes the work, but the person works and takes the place.
If you leave your job to someone who is not capable, your work will be ruined, but if you entrust your job to someone who is capable, you are creating a better environment just like Joseph.
Before coveting a good job, let's put a good person first. If I live, the family lives, the church lives, and Japan lives.
The person who needs to meet the Lord here today is me and myself.
Let it be a precious time to experience the hand of the Lord.
(Praise, the hand of the Lord becomes the light of life!!!!)
Let's become saints who hear the voice of the Lord and rise up.
