Subject : Hezekiah's Prayer
Word: Isaiah 38:1-8
[1] About that time Hezekiah became ill and died. The prophet Isaiah son of Amos came to him and said to him, This is what the LORD says: Make a plan to your house, for you will die and not live.
[2] Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed to the LORD,
[3] And he said, "O LORD, I beg you, remember that I have walked before you in truth and with all my heart, and that I have done good in your sight." And they wept bitterly.
[4] Then the word of the LORD came to Isaiah, saying,
[5] Go and say to Hezekiah, This is what the LORD, the God of David your father, says: I have heard your prayers, and I have seen your tears; I will add fifteen years to your days.
[6] I will deliver you and your reason out of the hand of the king of Assyria;
[7] I will give you this sign as a witness to what the LORD has spoken.
[8] Behold, he said, ‘I will make the shadow of the sun that went on the eclipse of Ahaz recede ten degrees.

▶First, I turned my face to the wall and prayed before God.
Hezekiah looked at the wall to see God who opened the world of hope through the wall of despair. As we live in the world in front of us, there are times when various walls block us. The issue here is faith. Is it a wall of hope, a wall of despair, a wall, a passage, an end, or an exit? Even if you look at the wall, I pray that you will look at the God of love, my Father, who sees beyond the wall.
▶ The second weeping.
Verse 3 says, “We wept bitterly.” But the king's wailing was a prayer of tears to God. In verse 5, God said, "I have heard your prayers and have seen your tears." Hezekiah's tears moved God. His prayer of tears brought the grace of 15 years of life extension. Wailing prayer saved Hezekiah. Please believe that weeping and praying before God is a shortcut to being healed and healed. I pray that you can learn the king's wailing, the king's tears, and the king's prayer.
▶Thirdly, he said that life belongs to God.
In verse 16 of the text, it is written, “Lord, this is what a man lives, and the life of my soul is completely there. I pray, heal me and save me.” It is said that life and death belong to God. It is said that God is the Lord of life. That I am not the master of life. In Acts 17:25, it is written, "He himself gives to all people life and breath and all things." I pray that you believe that the value of life, the value of life, is revealed when you believe in Jesus and receive salvation. Furthermore, living and dying for God is the most valuable and rewarding life. Paul confesses in Romans 14:8, "If we live, we live for the Lord; if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord's."
☞Dear Sandoll Saints~
We thought about the prayer of King Hezekiah who came out of despair. He saved the country through prayer. I pray that you believe that the prayers of the Korean church will surely save and protect Korea. Hezekiah was healed of a fatal disease through prayer and was blessed to live another 15 years. We will turn despair into hope, pain into hope, and disease into cure. There is never despair in Christ. I bless you all Sandoll saints who believe and win.
