1. We must return to the Word of God. The people of Israel are the chosen people who will make a covenant with God and are the promised nation. God has promised that if the chosen people of Israel obey God's word, they will be blessed and will have abundance and will gain us even in battle. However, he warned that if we break our promise to God and disobey God's word, God's punishment will follow. King Hezekiah disobeyed and disobeyed God's word and returned from a corrupt culture of worshiping idols to the faith of YHWH that only served and worshiped God. In other words, he returned to the Word of God. What the Reformers cried out was “the Bible alone, faith alone, grace alone.” The reason that Catholicism was corrupted and depraved is because it acted as a humanism apart from the Word of God. There is forgiveness and restoration only when we return to the Word of God. In order for the Korean church to revive and recover, it must return to the Word of God.
