Title: History of Faith

The word history (履歷) is a word that combines the words of shoes or shoes and history, which refers to the traces you have walked. The word “belief history” is ultimately shortened to “reliance history”.

When a Christian writes a resume, he records his studies, baptism, etc. in a column called Divinity.

In order to become a member of the organized world, we submit our resumes, and the resumes of the people of the world record our status and activities in this world. would you like to record?

If you want to get a job in the world or be a special person, you may need to write something special on your resume. If you want to be such a person, you will also need a history of faith to become such a person.

1. Anything is to be planted

7 “Do not deceive yourself, for God is not deceived; whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.”

A person can forget the past deeds due to forgetfulness, but God always remembers them. Even if you make an excuse that there is no such thing, you will be remembered someday because you have planted all your deeds in your conscience.

Whatever a man sows, he said... In other words, people are bound to leave a footprint in the end. In the Old Testament, Jacob lived a life of deception, deceiving his father and older brother and deceiving his uncle. Later, when I came back to my hometown, my sins were exposed in my conscience at the river Jabbok and I repented.

Although Moses was the great leader of Israel in the Old Testament, he did not obey God's word and was tempted to throw the stone tablets on which the commandments were written, or to get angry while smashing stones with his staff to get water in the wilderness. They could not enter the land of Canaan, but died on the top of Mount Bisgas while looking at them.

There are no results without a cause in life and death. It is sure to blossom according to the way you did.

Jonathan, a friend of David and son of the first king of Israel, risked his life to protect David whenever his father was jealous of David and tried to kill him. He was five years old when he met the misfortune of being killed, and while his nanny was running away with Mephibosheth, he dropped it and left both feet limp. After that, when David became stable as king, he gave Mephibosheth a seat on the king's table, giving him many comforts. It is because of the history of faith that Jonathan had.

Judas Iscariot was only interested in money from the beginning, so he acted as a disciple for three years, but eventually committed suicide. His religious history was material.

In this way, faith is not all about getting power, getting rich, and suddenly changing things by laying on your hands, as some mystics claim that happens all at once. Life follows in its footsteps in the course of life and lives under the intervention of God. Italian proverb - A happy man sows a stick, but bears fruit.

Job 34:21 “God pays attention to a man's way, and sees every step he takes.

Nani” Psalm 37:23 “The Lord has set the steps of a man, and His ways are His delight.”

2. Plant between spirit and body

8“He who sows to his flesh will reap corruption from the flesh, but he who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.”

The physical and the works of the Holy Spirit collectively refer to the worldly and the customs of the Church of God. Everything you do for the world's greed and pride is only things that will rot with the passage of time.

As the years go by, all the great names and worldliness are forgotten. Both carnal and worldly things become corrupted.

However, spiritual works led by the Holy Spirit, that is, footsteps done according to the will of God, will have their value forever until they receive a reward in heaven. There are spiritual and physical things within the church. There are some who want to do church work for self-exaltation. Since these people have already been rewarded in the world, there will be no reward in heaven.

Job 4:8 “I see that he that plows evil and sows poison reaps as well.” Proverbs 14:12, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end is the way of death.” From this point of view, the world has a lot of fleshly things that are corruptible.

Depending on how you engage in economic activities and run the economy, and how you use your honor, knowledge, and everything, you will reap the fruits of what you sow. You will have to plant the track of receiving.

It is the situation of ordinary people in the world that they only like money and have no interest in good things. However, it is foolish to continue to cling to money every day, even if you fail to live after it.

In the text, especially, he who sows for himself is said to be. Therefore, selfishness tends to go to the flesh in the end. It foretells that selfishness for self will be very strong in the phenomena of the last days.

Romans 16:18 “These do not serve Christ our Lord, but only their own belly, and with deceitful and flattering words they deceive the hearts of the innocent.”

2 Timothy 4:3 “The time is coming when people will not be taught sound teaching, but will have itching ears and will accumulate many teachers to suit their own desires.”

But the saint Paul says so. Romans 14:7 "Not one of us lives to himself, and not one dies to himself."

That's right. When you become a saint, your view of life changes for the self-interest of the flesh. Now, I want to live according to the will of eternal life in the Holy Spirit. This is not the characteristic of the Tao, but the most rewarding quality of life. Living for someone else is a very precious view of life. It is a spiritual life to serve God's will and to live while valuing our neighbors as ourselves.

3. The footsteps of holy faith pass through hardship and bear fruit

9 “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we are not weary.”

The modern church has fallen into a religious culture who wants to lead a religious life with Christianity without suffering. The process of Christian truth conquering the world becomes like the life and death of Jesus. If you try to escape this principle and do so, it is untruth and other gospel ideas. is.

The Bible is not intended to improve people's quality of life, but presents a completely different formula. It teaches us to have different purposes and methods of life. The Christian life process leads to the cross. The big problem of the modern church is the cultural ideology of the church without the cross.

It is right to receive God's benefits, but if you follow the path according to people's thoughts and goals, it is not the right idea of truth. That's why it's not about getting real blessings.

The Bible clearly states that when you make a covenant of blessing, you will surely suffer hardships from the world.

Mark 10:29 "I tell you the truth, I say to you," Jesus said, "whoever has left house or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or lands, for my sake and for the sake of the gospel, 30 in this time there is house and brothers and sisters and mother and children There is no one who will not receive a hundredfold of land, but with persecution, and in the age to come eternal life

When you believe in God and receive blessings, you are bound to go through suffering. It has been a long time since the voices that the members of the Korean church should enjoy suffering have disappeared from the pulpit of the Korean church. When the truth meets the world, the sound of suffering is bound to come out. If we reject this fateful event and revive the church with a different gospel ideology, it will be a crime, not a religion, and will be a punishment from God.

At the end of this chapter, Paul says in Galatians 6:17, “Let no one trouble me from now on, for I have on my body the marks of Jesus.”

The traces of Jesus are the wounds he suffered while he labored for the gospel. He was beaten, stoned, starved, and suffered a lot. If you look at his body, you can probably see that he suffered so much that he had no skin.

Romans 8:17 “And if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, for we must suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.”

If the members of the church only want to be glorified in the church, it is a mistake. The church is not a place where people are glorified.

If you want to believe in Jesus and receive grace, you must remember and be able to accept this saying that you must also suffer hardships in order to receive glory.

2 Corinthians 4:10 “We always carry in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.”

Colossians 1:24 “I now rejoice in the afflictions that I suffer for you, and fill the rest of the sufferings of Christ in my flesh for the sake of his body, the church.

We need to learn how to accept the afflictions we receive from our religious and biblical attitude in Christ, imitating Paul's spirit of being happy. Korean Christians do not like to receive a proper evaluation of the process, saying that there is a cause and that it does not matter if the result is good.

Because God's love is promised, you can only receive blessings somehow. However, the process needs to be thoroughly evaluated to see if it is biblical. Because the Christian life process must do something wrong or the way of life is too noble. It is not the way of being inconsistent with the world itself that is the problem, but because the meaning of life is different, suffering inevitably comes.

Doing good in this verse is the content of a Christian life living according to the Bible. It can be difficult in the world, and social service is often discouraged.

It is easy to become discouraged if you just give love without thinking about the return that will come back. Because we become discouraged while doing good, this verse awakens our hope that we will surely reap in due time. That is the last time and the time when the Lord will give us fruit. Also, if we persevere in our life of faith until the end, we will have good results. It is also a promise to be.

On a blank piece of paper, write down what you personally believed in Jesus, what happened to you, how you behaved, and what good deeds you have recorded in the Bible. Write down your religious r sum  from the beginning to this point. If you run toward the Lord in your story, a good future will be guaranteed.

Since God is not neglected, a faithful God will bless us according to our deeds of faith. Hopefully, faith is a mystery, not expecting blessings that will come soon, but after sowing the seeds of life like the parable of sowing seeds in the Bible. When the time comes, we will not deviate from the principle of betting on all its fruits, good or evil. What is your faith history?

How many times have you recorded religious events that you can testify to? Have you come this far by avoiding difficult religious problems? From now on, I pray in the name of the Lord that you and I will have a history of faith that will follow you wherever the Lord asks you to come and be able to reap the grace of God for me and my descendants to all generations.
