Title: History of the Great Revival

Contents

Today's text is the story of a sinner who has been abandoned by the world to meet the Lord Jesus and accomplish the work of great revival. What is the motive for the great revival history?

First, because the Samaritan woman came out to the well (verse 7).

Humans lived together in search of water. The earth is composed of 71% water and 29% land, and only 1% of the water is fresh water, but even this is becoming polluted. The fact that the woman came to the well is significant. Even in the spirit world, it is impossible to live without spiritual water. The waterside symbolizes God's temple (Ezekiel 47:1). There is a history of reviving dying souls. A man of God must come to the temple and carry out the work of spiritual revival. To do that, you need to bring a dong. God fills the grace with the vessel, so we need to prepare the vessel. The well is the church of God, and the east is the vessel of blessing. This well was not an ordinary well, but a well handed down to us by our ancestor Jacob. (Verse 12) At that time, people considered it as precious as life because it was a well that was dug by their forefathers' hard work. In order to protect the spiritual well, the Church of God, we must adhere to the faith of our martyred ancestors and come to the temple of God to achieve great revival.

Second, because I met Jesus (verse 7).

Third, because they obeyed the words of Christ.

When the two disciples returned to their hometown, their hearts grew warm when they heard the word, and they experienced the work of the Holy Spirit (Luke 24:32). Faith comes from hearing, and hearing comes from the word. (Romans 10:17) You must hear the Word and receive the Holy Spirit. Because the Samaritan woman did not doubt or judge when she heard the word, she found herself and found her mission. He ran to the town and preached Christ, and the whole town accomplished the work of great revival. It was a great event that pioneered the field of evangelism. He, who could not evangelize, did evangelism. Therefore, I believe that you will become believers who listen to God's word and meditate on it to evangelize.
