Title The Bible

"Isn't the Bible truly a wonderful book? The breadth of the world cannot be compared to its size; it is rooted in harmony and soars high in the closets of the sky. The rise and fall of the sun, the fulfillment of promises, life and death, all the ideals of mankind. In this book are his poems and hymns, his history and philosophy, law and prophecy, deep visions and high virtues, the fall of man and the salvation of God, and the teachings of life and truth."
There are two scriptures in the history of mankind that have made human beings absolute. One is Karl Marx's dialectical materialism and the other is the Bible. The former is the history of purges and blood, and the latter is the history of salvation and redemption. The fact that the Bible, written by 40 authors over 1,600 years, could shine like the sun in the midst of countless hardships and hardships is proof that this book is the living Word of God. The Bible has miraculous power, and there is an amazing history in it. So it's a book that makes a huge difference.
1. A sinner turns into a child of God.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is right for teaching, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfected” (2 Timothy 3:16-17). “These are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name” (John 20:31). The Bible rebukes and instructs fallen humans in order to make them truly human beings, children of God. (2 Samuel 12:7-9)
"All the house of Israel knows the retirement age, that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ. Let each one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins." (Acts 2:36-38) He cried, "Brothers, what shall we do?" We repented of our sins and were baptized.
“For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, joints and marrow” (Hebrews 4:12). The Bible is God's righteousness and truth, life and light, peace, salvation, freedom, joy, wisdom, virtue, grace, and the glory of God.
“And all the people wept when they heard the word of the law, and Nehemiah the governor, Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who taught the people said to all the people, “Do not mourn, nor weep, for today is holy to the Lord your God.” ). “When the news of the news came to the king of Nineveh, he got up from his throne, took off his robe, and put on sackcloth and sat down in ashes” (Jon 3:6).
How can you count all those who repented and wept after hearing the words of the Bible? How many thugs and how many prodigals on this earth have been transformed into true human beings and precious children of God by hearing and reading the Bible? Aren't we all that changed here?
As the atheist philosopher Voltaire said, "In the next hundred years the Bible will be reduced to obsolete and vulgar books, and to remain as museum antiques." But a hundred years later, Voltaire's house became the office of the Bible Society. Voltaire looked at the Bible to oppose, but he was moved and became a child of God.
The Bible says that all have sinned, but if anyone comes to the cross, God accepts them and makes them children, washed with his blood and sealed with the Holy Spirit, so that they may come before the throne of God blameless and have eternal life. I am speaking.
2. Those who have died will live forever.
“The Scriptures are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus” (2 Timothy 3:15). “You search the scriptures, thinking that you have eternal life in them, but this scripture is the testimony of me” (John 5:39). Salvation and eternal life are human instinctual demands. The Bible has the breath of God in it, and it revitalizes those who hear and those who read.
“This is what the Sovereign LORD says: ‘Come from the four winds, and blow on these slain, that they may live.’” So I prophesied as he commanded, and breath of life entered them, and they came to life and stood up, an exceedingly great army” (Ezekiel 37: 9-10). Where there is the Word, the movement of life, the movement of eternal life, and the movement of heaven take place.
The Bible records about the eternal life of Jesus Christ, and because God's life force is stirring, if anyone hears it with faith, longing and obedience, it revives our souls, makes us aware of our sins, opens our spiritual eyes, and reveals the power of God's love. Jesus gives life.
Jeremiah 23:9 says, "Is not my words like fire? Are not my words like a hammer that strikes a rock to pieces?" Indeed, God's word is like a rod that crushes sin and iniquity, and a fire that burns.
3. Regenerate the person of Jesus.
“To make the man of God perfect for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:17).
Victor Hugo, a French writer, said, "England is a country with two books. Shakespeare's complete collections and the Bible. All Shakespeare works were written by the English, but the Bible is the book made by the English."
Also, Andrew Jackson, the 7th President of the United States, said, "America is a nation that has the Bible as its rock."
There are those who say they are not interested in the Bible because it is an old book, but isn't the mountain the old mountain and the sky the old sky? The word of God, which was revealed to save mankind from the state of wretched destruction, not only lives indefinitely in the long ages, but it is more dignified than thunder, sharper than a sharpened sword, and more vital than the light of spring, so that both readers and listeners have been transformed into holy ones.
The Word of God is not theology or theory. It is a concrete life, an event, and a history. The content of the Bible is that God Himself in history created a new history when Christ came. The Word of God is alive and has creative power, so those who come in contact with it are changed and become new people, those who are in anxiety and fear are changed and overflowing with confidence and joy, those who are in despair are given hope, When those who practiced the Word come into contact with the Word, they will have a beautiful and good will. Thus, they recreate the life of Jesus in their lives.
Paul confessed this change as follows: “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Gal. 2:20).
Thus, the believer's life becomes "a life in which only Christ may be honored in my body, whether by life or death." That is why we must preach the Bible through books and also through words. We must also make people feel Christ through our actions and our real life.
Dr. Schweitzer changed his mind while reading Luke 16:24, in which the rich man cried out in the agony of hell after death. After that, he devoted the rest of his life to evangelizing black people and healing them in the African jungle.
Even if the wind blows and the clouds cover the sun and it is dark, there is still the sun in the sky. No matter how chaotic and evil the world is, there is a throne in heaven and the Bible on earth.
Just as rain and snow come down from heaven and do not go there again, water the land and make it sprout and bear fruit. When the Word of the Bible comes into our hearts, it is the work of repenting of our sins in our hearts, and the resurrection of the dead to new life. History, a history of changing personality takes place. In the name of the Lord, I ask that you and I, who do not carry the Bible, read it again and again, listen carefully and engraved it in our hearts, so that our hearts will be revived and we will be sanctified from sin and live like little Jesus in this world.
