As Jesus was sent, he went the way of the cross alone. Jesus went to Golgotha of death without any rebellion, just like a sheep led to the limbs for the purpose of coming to this earth.
Today is Easter Sunday. In the text, two groups (groups) appear immediately after the resurrection through the point of resurrection. These two groups are closely related to the resurrection of Jesus. The two stepparents are completely opposed to each other.
Premonition - A meeting to hide the resurrection of Jesus
It is a gathering of those who kill and oppose Jesus and do not believe in or preach the resurrection. It is a gathering of watchmen, chief priests, and elders guarding the tomb of Jesus. Because Jesus said he would rise again on the third day of his life, the high priests sent watchmen to the tomb to guard it just in case.
The watchmen and the chief priests and the elders. The watchmen who guarded the tomb of Jesus were those who witnessed the resurrection of Jesus. They gather together with the watchmen, the high priests, and the elders to discuss.
It is a meeting that tries to cover the truth with money. This is a group that believes that money can solve everything. But money cannot cover the truth.
It's a group that lies for their own authority. They are a group of people trying to keep their authority by lying. The chief priests and elders spread lies when they knew that their authority would be weakened if the resurrection of Jesus was known.
It is a meeting to solve problems with the power of the world. We tried to solve the living history of resurrection, the most amazing history in human history, with power. How could the power of Judaism and the power of Rome obscure the resurrection?
Jesuits - A gathering of disciples who testify to the resurrection of Jesus
At first, the disciples of Jesus did not believe in the resurrection of Jesus at all. But they came together because the resurrection of Jesus was so evident. When Jesus was arrested, the disciples who had run away and denied that they did not know were gathered together to testify of the resurrection because Jesus was resurrected.
Disciples of Jesus and helpless women.
They met the resurrected Jesus.
It is a gathering of those who received the command of Jesus.
It is a gathering of the resurrected Jesus.
What Jesus gave his disciples was the promise of being together. Starting from the resurrection of Jesus, the life was clearly divided into two lives. Me and you who are gathered here today are people of the Lord's kingdom who believe and testify to Jesus Christ, who rose from the cross on the third day. Although our lips are small, the kingdom of God is established through our witness.
