Title The Forsaken Voice (Matthew 27:45-46)
Contents Jesus Christ prayed for those who persecuted him.
He also promised life to the thief who saves lives at the last minute.
And for his mother, he made a special request to his disciples.
And a few hours later, suddenly something strange happened.
At 12 noon, the whole world went dark.
In the pitch-black darkness, there was a constant groan and a scream.
My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? These are the fourth words of Jesus Christ on the cross.
This morning, we want to understand the meaning of these words.
Some say he lost his mind on the cross and was bullshit.
It's not like that.
Jesus never lost his mind for a moment.
You did everything so calmly (Forgiveness, Paradise, Mother).
Others say that Jesus was in so much pain that he unknowingly leaked out of his lips.
no.
Jesus willingly gave his life and happily endured all the sufferings for you and me.
But Jesus said, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?
If there is one greatest tragic saying in the world, it is being abandoned.
But Jesus was rejected by God.
God, who is love, has never forsaken anyone.
David says God is my refuge.
When the people of Israel were afflicted, God said that I would never leave you or forsake you.
Even when he was helpless in front of the Red Sea, he did not forsake him.
When Daniel was thrown into the lions' den, God never forsakes him.
David said that when he was old, he did not see God forsake the righteous.
Nevertheless, Jesus Christ was crucified and was actually rejected by God.
Jesus Christ, who always obeyed God's will, had fellowship with God, and carried out God's work, Jesus Christ, who lived according to God's providence and always pleased God, was abandoned.
