Hymn: 432 (New Hymn 382) 'Don't worry about your worries'
Meditation: There is only one God who can protect us from any danger in this world. Have you entrusted your life to God now?
Confession of Faith: Apostles' Creed
Text: "I lift up my eyes to the mountains; where does my help come from? My help is from the LORD, who made heaven and earth..."
There is one word that appears the most in Psalm 121. The word 'to protect' is used six times. In other words, Psalm 121 emphasizes 'God who keeps.' I am confessing that there is only Jehovah God who can perfectly protect me from all kinds of dangers and difficulties. Today, through the text, we will look at how God protects us.
First, our God is the one who always protects us. Psalm 146:3, 4 says, "Do not depend on princes, nor on people who do not have the strength to help." Because when breathing ceases, it returns to the earth and perishes. This means that we should rely only on God who protects and protects us 24 hours a day without drowsiness or sleep. Please believe that God is with us, protects, and protects us anytime, anywhere.
Second, our God is the One who protects us in all circumstances. God protects us in every situation, environment, event, and work in our life. Verse 5 says, “Our God is our shadow.” The word 'shade' is used 48 times in the Bible. The word 'shade' is 'shield' in Hebrew. Please believe that our God is our shade and shield and protects us in all circumstances.
Third, God is our eternal keeper. God sent us to this earth for a clear reason and purpose. It is for God to be glorified. Livingston said. "A man never dies until he fulfills his mission."
Prayer: Loving Heavenly Father! Let us live a victorious life by looking only at God who protects us anytime and anywhere. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
