Title/ The Grace You Called
Text/ Matthew 11:25-30
He chose us according to his good pleasure before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4)
He who separated me from my mother's womb and called me by grace (Galatians 1:15)
He is working out the work of salvation through all of us who are here.
1, When did you call?
1) The blessing of calling will come true while you live on this earth.
(Job 19:26) "After my skin has decayed, I will see God outside the flesh."
As Job confessed, those who receive the blessing of salvation while wearing the flesh will see God on the day they take off their flesh.
(Romans 10:9) “If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord...and believe in your heart, you will be saved.”
2) Each person has a different time. (Matthew 20:1-16)
Verses 3-6: “At the third hour, at the sixth hour and at the ninth hour, at the eleventh hour, I went out and found other people standing there.”
Some people have different calling times from their mother's womb, Sunday school days, youth and adulthood, but the blessing of salvation is the same for everyone.
3) Each person has a different place of calling.
When Samuel was growing up in the temple (1 Samuel 3:4), “the Lord called Samuel”
When Peter was catching fish (Matthew 4:18-20), “he saw Peter casting his net into the sea”
When Paul persecuted believers (Acts 9:3-4), “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”
The robber of the cross met the Lord on the threshold of death and was called to paradise. (Luke 23:43)
2, What kind of people are called and why?
1) Those who are appointed according to his will
Note ▶ The meaning (John 6:40) "Believing in the Son" Predestination (Ephesians 1:5) "Predetermined"
(Romans 8:28-30) “According to his purpose... he predestined... and glorified them also.”
2) Those who cannot without God's help
(1 Corinthians 1:26-28) “Behold, brethren, your calling, wisdom, power, noble, weakness, lowly, manifest, and those who receive it.”
3) To put down the heavy burdens and give them rest (Matthew 11:28-30) “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
3, What are the blessings given to those who are called?
1) He gives you rest.
(Matthew 11:28) “I will give you rest, 29 and your hearts will find rest.”
Among the saints who are sitting here today, I think there will be many heavy burdens with family, children, work, business, etc.
"Come to me all" by the grace you called
I hope that you will be resolved through the word in the Lord and find rest.
2) Give a prize.
(Philippians 3:13-14) “I am pursuing the reward of the above calling of God.”
For those who live in faith, a crown is prepared and those who overcome are waiting.
3) Give me a movie.
(Romans 8:30) “Those whom he predestined he also called…and glorified them.”
The glorious world of the Lord is given to the children who have called the blessings of the glorious kingdom of heaven.
To us who cannot solve anything by ourselves, the voice of the Lord's call is a tremendous grace and a gift. Amen-
