Title The Great Mission (Matthew 28:18-20)
Content The most important thing that the resurrected Jesus emphasized was the preaching of the gospel. “(Mark 16:15) And he said, “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” This is preaching the good news. Evangelism is preaching the good news that Christ died for our sins, was raised from the dead, and is now Lord of the world, pardoning and saving those who repent.
The Church is the agent of evangelism. The history of the church is the history of preaching the gospel. The book of Acts records how the gospel was preached. The most urgent task for the church to do in any age is to preach the gospel.
