Title The greatest gift (Hebrews 11:1-12)

In order to understand the Bible as a narrative, there is always a question that should be asked first while reading the Bible. What was the author of the Bible thinking about when he wrote this article? Or what the author is trying to show. What was the author trying to show in Hebrews 11? What did you want to show clearly to those who are suffering, to those whose faith is shaken in the midst of trials and temptations? And as the text is read, the picture the author is trying to show begins to appear. It was meant to show how faith works in the lives of believers. And that's mainly in the future.
The Gospels and Pauline epistles that appeared before the book of Hebrews emphasized the roots of faith and the present life of Christians. In other words, much emphasis has been placed on the cross and resurrection of the Lord. But there has been no emphasis on what this belief has to do with our lives or our future. Here, the author wanted to emphasize the future of faith or the hopefulness of faith. Therefore, it emphasizes the nature of belief that belief is hope, and faith is receiving achievement as a gift. 11:1-12 emphasizes the fact that faith is what they hope for, and verses 12-40 are examples of how their wishes were fulfilled. Naturally, verse 1, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things not seen” is the main premise of what we are going to develop next.
In the Bible, time speaks of a different view of time than we think. In the book of Revelation, it is said, "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last<0x2417> (Rev 21:6). The first is the last and the last is the first is a reality that can never happen in time. Let's see.
forever time
So there is no tragedy for Christians. There is also no gloom or despair. Because the things hoped for in faith are now realized in Jesus Christ. If we believe in the Almighty and Creator God, shouldn't we have such a strong faith? Ω
