Title The Masterpiece's Mission (Isaiah 43:1-7)
Content The Bible (Isaiah 43:1) tells us what our existence and position are like. In particular, through the text of the text, God is teaching us that he has created us as the greatest masterpiece and has called us as witnesses.
(1) God created us and was pleased with us (43:1).
God is the creator of things out of nothing. After God created and prepared all things in the beginning, He made us humans special in His image, breathed life into them, and made us exceedingly good in the eyes of other creatures. As God created us as special beings for the glory of God (Isaiah 43:7), today as creatures, we should think about what life is for God's glory and live a worthwhile life.
(2) God created us (43:1).
When we come to know clearly that it is God who made us “me,” we will have no choice but to be thankful for our character and appearance. Because God has made each of us a masterpiece. Scientists explain that not even a single cell in a leaf is identical.
Likewise, for us humans, God has made each one of us a masterpiece of unique existence. So, every time we look in the mirror, we should confess, "God! Thank you so much."
In the past, Peter and John had fiery personalities, but God melted them with the Holy Spirit and eventually made them apostles of love. However, although it is actually a masterpiece, each of us is sculpting it until we enter the kingdom of God, so even if the other person lacks or has faults, we should look at God's masterpiece, understand each other, and help each other.
(3) God has redeemed us (43:1).
It is the fact that when man became a slave after the fall, he redeemed him from water and fire through Jesus Christ.
Saints! Why do we look proud at the cursed cross because the Lord took the punishment of the cross for me. In fact, when He was created, He spoke with His Word, but in order to redeem Him, He loved us even as His only begotten Son, even to the point of shedding His blood. Therefore, now you are inseparable from the love of the Lord. “Who will separate us from the love of Christ, tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword” (Romans 8:35).
But why do our lives have to go through a tunnel of hardship that crosses rivers and fires? It is similar to why pottery loses its treasure after being refined in fire. That is why God says, “Do not be afraid” (Isaiah 43:1), even if there is pain that crosses the river of suffering in our individual families, churches, nations, and the world.
Because God rescued us from the fire as in Isaiah 43:10, 12 and made us "God's witnesses and servants of God." Now, we are living in a prosperous era where we live shoulder to shoulder with the world powers in all aspects, including our national economy. The ultimate reason for such abundance is the fact that he was ordained to fulfill the mission of witnessing to the dying people of Asia and the world.
Finally, God will enrich every part of us if we carry out our mission as witnesses by bearing witness to the Word, sharing love, and sending missionary expenses by devoting ourselves to missions in detail. Even though it is a little devotion, God will bless you when you fulfill the mission of witnessing in the mission field with your body, material, and prayer while giving thanks to God for creating, creating, and taking possession of it.
