Introduction What did you do to your parents on Mother's Day?
- Carnations, gifts, things that make you happy
Main subject
1. Who said the words of this text? Preacher? school teacher? Honoring your parents is a direct command from God. It is the first commandment that those who believe in God must keep. Friends who do not obey their parents are friends who do not obey God.
2. Reasons to thank parents (restaurants, clothing stores, sneakers, school supplies)
Who gave birth to us: Without our parents, not one of us is in this place right now x
You feed us, clothe us and raise us without conditions: bill x
Because they are the people who love us the most in the world - even if we don't express ourselves well
(My father's story - I thought you didn't love me: I called you yesterday)
3. How to repay your parents (filial piety): The result of filial piety - happy family, talent
Listen carefully. Help me. don't fight with your brother
4. Another parent (compare with school teachers and hagwon teachers and then with parents - prepare letters and gifts): Spiritual parents (reduce the weight)
5. Children becoming like Jesus: Children who please their parents, children who please their teachers. A child who pleases God - not just in words, but in deeds. Checklist Children who are always diligent - Talent payment
(It is self-evident that we will fail again without prayer)
to parents
It is the month of May when green leaves cover the street trees, parks, and all the mountains. At this time of national hardship, the greenery that embraces the city center seems to give comfort to the heart. Isn't the family month, which should be full of relaxation and warmth, more burdensome than usual?
There are also concerns that our children, who should grow up brightly in these days, may develop negative and dark minds. That is why our Youngju Church youth teachers are trying to welcome our children more warmly and teach them with deep love. Since our children will grow up and become leaders in this society, we are teaching the Word of God by praying earnestly for them with a precious sense of mission. After pondering and praying for better education, we have planned the following two things.
First, we are going to go out on a picnic next week. The place seems to be going to the war memorial. We will do our best to prepare a picnic that our children can play and enjoy to their heart's content. Transportation, food, etc. will all be prepared by the Youth Department. It is recommended that children wear hats so that their faces do not burn too much, and send them a place where they can sit together. As usual, we will gather by 10:30 a.m. and return around 3 p.m.
Second, starting today, we will be conducting a weekly checklist for children who become more like Jesus. In the meantime, there is a feeling that education has been conducted separately at home, at church, and at school. So, by handing out checklists during the week, our children can practice what they have learned in church at home and at school, so that their thoughts and actions are consistent, and their faith and life are in harmony so that they can check on their own. Please refer to the accompanying checklist for details and evaluation methods. To encourage this, talents (a monetary unit used only within the youth club) are given according to the score, and the children can buy goods on June 28th, the youth department talent market, with the received talents.
If you encourage your children to do what they are good at as often as possible and teach them to keep a checklist, your children will grow up to be good people who will lead the board at school, at home, and at church. And I would appreciate it even more if you could give me some advice under the parent checkbox. Also, it will be a great help if you pray for me and our boys' teachers and children.
