Title The principle of reaping ()

Contents

Text: Galatians 6:6-10

Today is Thanksgiving Day, a day to give thanks and glory to God.

The Word is the second session of the principle of reaping following last week. In the last lesson, the first was “He who is taught, share all good things with those who teach the word”, and the second of this time is, “Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap”.

Our Mokyang Church has a small parking lot, so we purchased a 1058 pyeong land and field in front of the church. Some are used as poles, and some are used as fields. About 100 fruit trees and peppers, tomatoes, eggplants, radishes and lettuce seeds were planted. Surprisingly, however, tomatoes are opening from where the lettuce is planted, and peppers are opening from where the tomatoes are planted. But does this make sense? Isn't it? When you plant lettuce, lettuce opens, and when you plant tomatoes, tomatoes open.

As the saying goes, “Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31), you will reap salvation if you sow faith. In the same way, if you sow evangelism, you will reap a crown of glory that shines like a star (Daniel 12:3). If you sow loyalty, you will reap the crown of life (Revelation 2:11). If you sow a good fight, you will also reap the crown of righteousness (2 Timothy 4:7).

Just as the world is like this, so is the life of faith.

1. He who sows for the flesh will reap corruption from the flesh.

The body gets dirty even if it is washed well, gets old even if it is well dressed, gets sick even if it is well fed, and as time goes by, there is nothing you can do about it. That is why it is said that the soul is more valuable than the body. How hard did Abraham's nephew Lot choose Sodom and Gomorrah to become rich? But in the end he was completely destroyed.

Sow for the soul, sow for the afterlife, sow for eternity, and live for God.

2. Those who sow for the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.

It is the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross that saved us from dying because of sin and gave us eternal life. The Holy Spirit came into this world as the Comforter of Jesus, so we must be led by the Holy Spirit. Jesus also said in Matthew 6:31, “Do not ask what you shall eat, drink, or wear; seek first the kingdom and his righteousness.” The meaning of these words is to live for the Lord, for the soul, for the reward. It is God's ordained law to reap what you sow.

3. It is to be kind to the families of faith.

“As much as you have the opportunity, do good to all, but especially to the families of the faith.”

These words are among believers

① It means to cover the other person and cover the faults.

If there is a real problem, ask the pastor to advise him and do not reveal the faults of others.

② It means to be considerate of others.

I should not think, expect, or judge by my standards. If you judge and speak from the point of view of a person in charge, mistakes will be greatly reduced.

③ It is to make the other person beneficial

If it is the same price, it means to use the things of the believers for practical help. The reason why there are no Chinese people who are not rich is because they help and lead each other. Actually, I thought a lot while watching the scene where the owner of a Chinese restaurant I saw when I was in Gongju when I was in school went to Jochiwon by bus in search of an overseas Chinese who was running an onion dealership to help the same overseas Chinese.

Dear saints,

What have you planted for the Lord? What did you give?

He who sows for the flesh, for pleasure, for the gratification of the visible moment is vain and vain. But plant for the soul, for the children, for the church, for the Lord. This is a blessing. There is nothing more precious than giving to Jesus. Today, on Thanksgiving Day, I hope that you plant your offerings for the kingdom of heaven and for Jesus. There is nothing left to write for ourselves. But what you write for the Lord remains.

I hope that you will become wise saints who sow with faith and reap blessings. Hallelujah!!

- Amen -
