Sermons for Preaching

Title The Secret of Answering Prayer

Contents

Example) Message from the Fig Tree

body description

sandwich technique

In the text, Jesus says, “My house is a house of prayer for all people” (Isaiah 56:7).

The secret to receiving answers to prayer can be found in the text.

1. It means to believe in God (verse 22).

“Believe in God” means to believe that God has a better will and a better plan than my request or wish.

And it is believing that God's will will be done according to God's plan.

* Analysis of the contents of chapters 13 and 14

In your judgment, who do you think made the realistic report?

Isn't honest reporting what you have seen and heard without adding to or subtracting from objective facts?

But why is it called evil?

Why?

This is because they did not believe in the eternally unchanging Word of God and reported it based on the circumstances that had to be changed and their sensuous intelligence.

God has already said, "I have given you the land."

A person of faith is not a person who communicates his or her thoughts or judgments.

(Numbers 14:23 - Whoever despises me...)

A person who believes in the word of God and preaches it as it is.

*The importance of speaking (verse 23)

Example) The words of Descartes and James

Numbers 14:28 “Say to them, As I live, saith the LORD, I will do to you as you have heard my words.”

When will Jesus be healed when he heals the sick?

“Your faith has given you birth. Daughter, be free from your illness and be healthy

Take your seat and get up and go.”

It was time to declare it in words.

One more thing to note.

Why is nothing happening despite the verbal declaration?

It is because of our reason and our sensual intellect.

This is because we cannot accept the super-reasonable and super-sensible Word of God.

If this happens, the word of God exists, but the word is not in me, but outside me.

John 15:7 “If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.”

It is important to see, hear, read, and preach the Word of God, but more importantly, the Word must abide in you.

So I am not speaking the Word of God, but the Word of God is what makes me speak.

It is not that I use God's Word, but when God's Word asserts me and God's Word uses me, work happens.

*Numbers 14:24 - Fulfilled 45 years later

In fact, when we read the Word of God and use it, but borrow it temporarily and use it for our own purposes, and when the Word dwells in me, the Word becomes a part of me and the Word uses my lips. are different from each other.

How, then, can we make the Word of God dwell in us?

This does not mean praying and reading the Word overnight.

Continuous meditation on the Word is necessary.

The importance of meditation (Joshua 1:8)

2. We must not doubt in our hearts (verse 23).

Doubt (Greek - di koline: to be separated in two)

Ex) Eve/The confession of the demon possessed father in Mark 9

Example) tsunami principle

Organize your words.

Ex) The match of prayer / The prayer of the tiger

Do not kill the living Word of God with your intellect, but let it dwell in you.

And I pray in the name of the Lord that you will live a life capable of overcoming obstacles like mountains from this time today by proclaiming the words of creativity and faith.
