Title The Teaching Spirit/John 14:25-26
1. The Holy Spirit makes Jesus Christ known
The teaching of the Holy Spirit has the meaning of teaching about Jesus Christ. That is, He makes us believe that He is our Savior. That is why all of us have already received the Holy Spirit. Because the Holy Spirit came, we came to know Jesus, followed him, and believed in him. Although the disciples followed Jesus, they did not fully understand him. So Jesus told his disciples that the Counselor would come and he would teach them everything. It is because the Holy Spirit exists that we can pray and look to the Lord even in the midst of persecution.
2. The Holy Spirit reminds us of Jesus Christ
Knowing and remembering are different. People don't always remember everything. If you always remember the pain of the past and live, that person will not last long. That is why God sometimes gives the blessing of forgetting. So, how can we remember Jesus? It is by the Holy Spirit. Truth is not new. It is the truth that never changes and is always the same. That is, Jesus is the one who always remains the same. Jesus is the truth. It is the Holy Spirit who makes us always remember these truths.
3. The Holy Spirit gives us the power to preach Jesus Christ
The evangelism we do is not what we do, but the work of the Holy Spirit through me. Teaching spiritual truths to others is impossible with the strength of the flesh and also impossible with wisdom. It is not done with the beauty of words and wisdom, but with the manifestation and power of the Holy Spirit. It is God who makes planting and watering grow into one by human strength. It is through God's hand that the church will be revived, and the family and all businesses will be established. The Holy Spirit teaches us these truths and enables us to communicate them.
I will conclude
The Holy Spirit makes us come to know Jesus Christ, helps us to accept Him who is truth from our hearts, not objective facts, and gives us the ability to communicate those beliefs that He has given us. We hope that we will be able to engage in all these works with a prayerful attitude.
