Title The Three Parables (Matthew 25:46)
Contents
There are three parables in Matthew 25: the parable of the ten virgins, the parable of the talents, and the parable of the sheep and the goats. The purpose of this parable is to “be on the alert that it should not be like this.” These parables also speak of the fact that “God loves the five wise virgins and the five foolish virgins, the five talents, the two and the one-talented, the sheep and the goats equally.” However, it will be different after the referee. It is divided into those who will receive God's love and those who will not. Therefore, I bless you in the name of the Lord that your thoughts, hearts, words, and deeds will be in the sight of God and that you will be praised at the final judgment.
If we divide the 6.5 billion people on Earth into two groups, we can divide them into those who are saved and those who are not. Those who are saved are those who believe in Jesus, and those who believe and are born again. On the other hand, those who are not saved are those who do not believe in Jesus, and those who have not believed in Jesus and have not been born again. The Bible, the Word of God, is accurate. Well, I'm recording the error correctly. By the way, the Bible is accurate, but our lives are not accurate. So is life and even salvation.
Here we will look at the lesson of the three parables in Matthew 25.
1. The Bible is a lesson given to those who believe. The five wise virgins and the five foolish virgins are all believers. If you go to church, you are not all five wise virgins, five talents, two talents, and not sheep.
2. The Bible divides those who will be saved and those who will not be saved among those who believe.
1) Parable of the ten virgins: They have all the lamps, but there is a difference in whether they have oil or not. The lamp means to believe, and the oil means the Holy Spirit. Acts 10:38 “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.” John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Truly “Truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.” Acts 19:2 “He said, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” Matthew 25:12 He answered, “Truly, to you I tell you, I do not know you.' Those who do not have oil, who have only attended church and have not received the Holy Spirit, who have no assurance of salvation, and those who only have the name of attending a church, are warned that they may not be able to enter the kingdom of heaven. are doing
2) Parable of talents: It means that you should not bury the talents you gave me. If you deviate from the essence (obedience) and pursue only the status quo (profit), greed and lies will arise. Matthew 25:30 “Cast this useless servant into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” Hell is where weeping and grinding of teeth is. We hope that you will use the buried talent as soon as possible.
3) Parable of sheep and goats: Matthew 25:40 “The king answered and said, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’” equated. 2 Corinthians 8:9 “And you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, that you through his poverty might become rich.” What you do to the least of them becomes what you do to him.
The rich man in Luke 16:19 and below contacted us with luxury every day. However, he did not lead a life of caring for the beggars around him, so his life was like a goat. 1 Timothy 5:6 “He who loves pleasure lives, but is dead.”
Revelation 3:1 To the angel of the church in Sardis, He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars said, "I know your works, you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead." There is. The entire Korean church is dying like that. So what is the difference between the living and the dead? Compared to fish, a dead fish, no matter how large, floats in the current, while a live fish moves up the current. What does this mean for believers? Living saints go up against the world. But the dead saints are washed away with the waves of the world. If you compare it to a flower, the living flower smells, but the dead flower smells bad. If we compare it to a tree, a living tree bears fruit and is green in appearance, but a dead tree does not. When expressed as a person, living people change, but dead people change.
The righteous and the sheep will be saved, as in Matthew 25:34, “Then the king will say to those on his right hand, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world’. So what about goats? Matthew 25:41 “And he said to them on the left, “Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.”
