If you say that you have welcomed the new year and have no wishes in your heart, then you are not worthy to welcome the new year. A blessing is to receive as much as the size of your wish. In other words, blessings are containers for wishes. The psalmist said, “Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it” (Psalm 81:10). A person without a wish cannot receive God's blessing. Each of us should start the new year with a wish. Because only those who have dreams and wishes can succeed. So, who can make these dreams and visions come true? The prophet Joel said, “Afterward I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions, and at that time I will pour out my Spirit upon the male and female servants, and I will will be given in heaven and on earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke] (Joel 2:28-30).
We can gain the assurance of salvation and peace of mind through faith in Jesus. After that, if you receive the filling of the Holy Spirit, you will have a desire in your heart. Also, we can live a successful life when we use our God-given talents and gifts to live our lives faithfully. So, how should we live to make all our wishes come true?
First, you must trust God.
The psalmist David said, "Trust in the Lord to do good; dwell in the earth, and let his faithfulness be food" (Psalm 37:3). Also, Jesus said, [Do not let your hearts be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me] (John 14:1). Anyone who does not believe in God cannot believe in anyone.
However, those who trust and believe in God will not be harmed by believing and trusting anyone. Trusting God is the only way to make our wishes come true. We must trust God because God is the Creator of all things. The Bible says [In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth] (Genesis 1:1). God is the Creator of all things, my savior, and the Lord of my life who walks with the Holy Spirit even now. Therefore, those who believe, confess, and trust that God is the Lord of their lives can live their lives with success without failing. Also, “living centered on God” means living centered on worship and the Word. Those who live centered on worship and the Word can become people who live in gratitude to God because their thoughts themselves become lives full of faith, hope, and love.
In order to achieve this wish, we must set a goal and pray. Because the Bible says, "It is God who works in you, to will and to do for His good pleasure" (Philippians 2:13).
We must set specific goals and pray with a heart that believes in God. Because prayer is an answer, and it is making our wishes known to God. Paul said, “He who calls you is faithful, and he will also do it” (1 Thessalonians 5:24). Because God is faithful and always fulfills His promises, if we wait for Him and trust Him, He will answer our prayers.
Second, we must rejoice in the Lord.
The psalmist David said, [Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desire of your heart] (Psalm 37:4). The meaning of the words [Rejoice in the Lord] means to rejoice in the Lord, and to enjoy all the results of living by trusting and relying on God. In other words, you must know how to be satisfied with God alone. It is to enjoy being a child of God, to be a people of God, to have fellowship with God, to worship God, and to sing praises to God. The result is clearly God's satisfaction. The secret to fulfilling your wish is not to be overly greedy. The Bible says, “Therefore put to death your members that are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, lust, evil lust and covetousness, which is idolatry” (Colossians 3:5). Therefore, in order to make all our wishes come true in the new year of 2007, we have to dream big, but we must start with small things.
Third, we must entrust our lives to God.
The Bible says, “Commit your way to the Lord, trust in him, and he will do it, and he will make your righteousness shine like the light of the day, your justice like the noonday light” (Psalm 37:5-6). If you have worked hard with your mission by believing in God and praying, you must now entrust all the results to God. Trust is trusting God.
If we trusted God, we should really entrust our lives to God. Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). we as God
We are truly blessed people when we find rest. The Bible talks about this
“Therefore, I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mark 11:24).
A person who trusts in God and rejoices in only God becomes a person who can entrust everything to God and wait. Because to entrust is to wait and to believe in God's faithfulness. It is also the faith that does not doubt that God will bring the best results. The apostle Paul said, “We know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).
In a life entrusted to God, we can live with success without failure. However, there is a part of life that cannot be excluded at all. It is a fact that we have to work hard and sweat hard. God will lead you to blessings on it.
In this way, God will surely reward those who trust in God and entrust themselves with their work. To do this, we must first trust God and have faith in God. When you do that, I pray that God will answer all your wishes, that 2007 will be a successful year, and that you will believe that your wishes will come true.

Heavenly Father, thank you for giving us a wish in the new year 2007. Lead us to always trust in God, rejoice in You, and entrust our entire life to Him. I pray in Jesus name.
