Title Thinking of Abraham (Genesis 19:23-29)
It will never be easy to say that the world we live in is a healthy world or a healthy world.
Because it is extremely selfish, extreme, and worldly.
Sodom and Gomorrah introduced in the biblical Genesis were probably the worst worlds since the days of Noah's Flood.
will be
In the days of Noah, the world was full of man's sins, and he was grieved and grieved that God had made man.
He said he would sweep it off the ground.
(Genesis 6:5) Jehovah declares that the iniquity of man is pervasive in the world, and that every plan of the thoughts of his heart is always evil.
see what you're doing
(Genesis 6:6) He lamented that man had been created on the earth, and his heart was grieved.
(Genesis 6:17) I will bring a flood upon the earth, and will destroy from the earth any flesh that has the breath of life.
all who are in will die
And the people of Sodom and Gomorrah also lived with evil instincts, and God said that they would destroy them.
(Genesis 18:20) And the LORD said, “The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and their iniquity is exceedingly great.
it's heavy
God always warns and judges a world like this.
If you hear and obey God's Word and return to Him, He will restore, heal, and make you whole.
But if they do not return, he will judge and beat them.
But God does not want His people to perish or suffer.
God guides, protects, and opens the way for God's people in God's way.
is.
In the Bible we read today, how God rescues God's people from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
We would like to share it with you as a blessing.
1. God provides a way of escape.
Even if the world is full of dangers, crises, and extremes, God provides a way of escape.
Even when we are tempted, when we are hurt, or when we meet difficult situations and sigh
He will surely open the way for the thieves to hide and escape.
(1 Corinthians 10:13) No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man, but God is faithful.
He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, and with the temptation
He will also provide a way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.
Even when Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, God heard Lot's last plea and opened the way.
(Genesis 19:19) Your servant has found favor with you, and you have shown me great kindness and saved my life.
I cannot escape and go to the mountains, I am afraid that disaster will strike me and I will die.
(Genesis 19:21) And he said to him, I have heard your wish also in this matter, so I will not destroy the city you speak of.
I will not
God wants us to always be in His grace.
And he expects us to live in faith and obedience.
It would be nice to make great dedication, sacrifice, and hard work, but it would be nice to give thanks and humbly
He also rejoices in the way he is serving his people.
Sometimes we try too hard and miss an opportunity, or wait for something too big and miss out on something we need to do.
There are times when it is lost.
Abraham's nephew Lot saw only the outward conditions of Sodom and Gomorrah and entered, and then went in to see the sins and evil things inside
failed to see.
(Genesis 13:10) So Lot lifted up his eyes and looked at the Jordan, and there was plenty of water in all the land as far as Zoar.
Before you destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, it was like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt.
I heard
(Genesis 13:13) The men of Sodom were wicked, and they were great sinners before the LORD.
As a result, they could not escape from the snare of sin, and they were led and led a painful life.
But God has opened a way for His people to escape.
It should come out when you open it
2. God is looking for even one righteous person.
Shortly before the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Abraham earnestly asked for forgiveness.
Even if there are fifty righteous people, if five of the fifty righteous are lacking, find forty righteous people there.
If you can find thirty people, you ask God for forgiveness.
And when he said, “What will you do if you find the last ten righteous people?” God said, ‘Even for the sake of the ten.
I will not destroy it,' he said.
(Genesis 18:24) If there are fifty righteous people in the city, the Lord will destroy it and give it to the fifty righteous.
will you not forgive
(Genesis 18:32) And Abraham said, 'Do not be angry, for I will say this one more time.
What will you do if you find the ten? He said, "I will not destroy it for the sake of ten.
will do
In this way, God is looking for ten righteous people.
No, you are looking for a righteous person.
Just as Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed because there were no ten righteous people, so one righteous man can be found in this world today.
It's not easy to be upset.
In today's church, even if there is only one faithful member, one who lives by faith and obedience, the Church of God will survive.
It will be powerful and lively, overflowing with grace and peace.
In today's age, God is looking for a righteous person.
God says, “I will forgive, I will not destroy.”
(Genesis 18:26) ...and I will forgive all that has come for them.
(Genesis 18:31) ...I will not destroy for the sake of twenty.
In this day and age, I become righteous and we become righteous to save the world and expand the kingdom of God.
I wish you the best of luck in opening a new future.
3. God thinks of Abraham.
God is always thinking of His people.
He thinks of us as he thinks of Abraham.
Be with us wherever we are, think of the wishes of our hearts and make them come true
give it
The promise Abraham received from God, and all that Abraham prayed to God,
W God never forgets and remembers every little thing.
And you always keep your promises.
(Genesis 17:1) When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, "I
Almighty God, walk before me and be perfect.
(Genesis 17:2) I will establish my covenant between me and you, and I will multiply you exceedingly.
In this way, God made Abraham the father of faith, a source of blessing, and
You made it rain.
(Genesis 12:2) I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great; and you will be blessed.
be the source
(Genesis 17:4) I have made my covenant with you, and you shall become the father of the nations.
Just as God thinks of Abraham, takes care of him, and answers prayers by fulfilling his wishes and promises.
He also answers our wishes today.
God remembered Abraham and made us alive just as he saved his nephew Lot from Sodom and Gomorrah.
Thank you, and through us, save our family, our neighbors, and our times, and expand the kingdom of God.
I believe you will go.
Hanbit Church, established by God, was established for the will of God and the gospel.
Therefore, our members received the mission with such grace and blessings.
If we bear it joyfully and bear it with joy, it will be to the glory of God and grace to us, and
I pray that you will become the people of God who will be saved and blessed among the people.
