The salvation that he was saved without denying himself is a lie. Salvation is that when a person died with Jesus, God raises him to a new person with Christ.
The cross not only killed Jesus, but also me. Jesus did not come into the world to die alone. He came to die with all men, sinners. Only then will salvation be achieved by being raised to life together.
It is as it is written, “We always carry in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body” (2 Corinthians 4:10).
Many people are deceived by Satan. This is believing in the false gospel with the temptation that if only Jesus believed in the dead gospel, he would become righteous.
It is written, “The coming of the evil one, according to the works of Satan, will come on those who are perishing with all powers and signs and false miracles and all deceitfulness of unrighteousness, for they do not receive the love of the truth, and they will not be saved. He caused temptation to work in them to believe a lie, so that all who do not believe the truth and love unrighteousness may be condemned” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12).
Therefore, it is false to say that sinners are saved. It is written, “This is a faithful saying, worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, I am chief among sinners” (1 Timothy 1:15). If he died, he would also live with him” (2 Timothy 2:11). Sinners must die with Jesus. For the dead are set free from sin and justified.
Salvation is the death of the body of sin with Jesus, who came in the flesh, and life again as a spiritual body with Christ. That is why the Bible says, “It is appointed for men to die once, and after that the judgment. In the same way, Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many; Shirah” (Hebrews 9:27-28).
Therefore, the man Christ Jesus also died once, just as God had ordained. As it is written, “Therefore, he ought to be made like his brothers in all things, that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in the work of God, to make atonement for the sins of the people” (Hebrews 2:17). But Jesus' death is a sanctifying death, and our death is a sanctifying death.
Regarding this, the Bible testifies, “For both the one who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are of one, and therefore he is not ashamed to call them brethren...” (Hebrews 2:11). By sacrifice he has perfected forever those who are sanctified” (Hebrews 10:14).
It is the mystery of Christ and the Church that the sanctifying death and the sanctifying death unite to form one body. As it is written, “Therefore a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and the two become one flesh, and this is a great mystery, I speak of Christ and of the church” (Ephesians 5:31-32).
In the false salvation that only Jesus died and I was saved, the church, the body of the Lord, will never be achieved. This is because I, the body of sin, cannot remain the body of the holy Christ.
Therefore, in the words of evidence, "If we have been united in the likeness of his death, then we shall also be united in the likeness of his resurrection" (Romans 6:5).
Now that we died with Jesus and were raised with Christ, we are not children of darkness, but children of light, and children of God with Christ Jesus. Thank you Lord.
