Title Trumpet/Numbers 10:1-10
Contents Trumpet/Numbers 10:1-10
As a child, the world seemed so beautiful. And when we were young, we learned that it is good to live a good life and that it is truly beautiful, and through children's books, we had such a dream. But as I got older and started to know the world, I realized that there is nothing more stupid than being good. I have come to realize that living a good life is like telling a story to die. We are living and experiencing with our bodies that nothing can be saved in this world if we live a good life. Especially in difficult times like today. If you obey the traffic laws, you'll end up hearing stupid sounds. This is the world. That's why people try not to live a good life. The principle of the world is that you can only survive by thoroughly conquering others. In a world where gold and silver medals are decided by one skate blade, and in a world where winners and losers are decided, living by faith is really dangerous and pathetic in a way. As a result, we have come to corrupt our faith without realizing it.
It is a confession of faith that believes and relies on God's strength and power in any situation. With that spirit, they must now go to the land of Canaan. Now Israel is going to conquer Canaan. Because that Canaan is Israel's enemy. In other words, they are enemies of God. Ignoring God's grace is God's enemy. So Israel is going to attack it and create the kingdom of grace. They had to go, believing that God was with them and blowing the trumpet. At that time, in fact, God was with them. For example, when the walls of Jericho were destroyed, they blew the trumpet and destroyed it. The problem is that we misunderstood this. They hate Egypt, so they go to the land of Canaan. We are trying to make the land of Canaan a land of grace, a land of God's mercy and love.
But if Israel forgets that spirit, they too will become part of the Canaanites. In other words, it was a confession that God was with Israel when they sounded the trumpet, so God clearly helped them and made them victorious. However, if the spirit is simply to conquer that country and make me happy, then it is useless to blow the trumpet. Why is Israel different from the Canaanites? Then, what kind of prayer or request for help we cry out to God is? In other words, God is not the lamp fairy from Arabian Nights. Come out when the trumpet blows, what do you need? We're here to help. This is not it.
