Title Two final roads / Luke 16:19-31
There are many ways to be seen in the world of content. Pathways, alleyways, pedestrian sidewalks, city streets, ring roads, highways, railroads, national roads, and sea routes for ships, sea routes, and satellites have orbits. revolving around the sun. Departure causes destruction. So people follow this path as long as they live. There are many ways of teaching in the world. Everyone lives by their own way. There are Yugos and Confucianism called the Tao of Gongmeng (孔孟), and there is the Buddhist way that follows the path of the Buddha. There are many philosophical paths that follow the teachings of Socrates, and there are many paths to the truths of saints, sages and teachers.
In addition, there are numerous religions, philosophies, and teachings that provide a spiritual and spiritual path for human life. However, there are also pseudo-religions on the contrary. There are Japan's Ohmism and various heretical editorials, which are confusing and confusing our way. But in the end there are only two paths ahead of us. "John 14:6" Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through me."
two paths in life
All those roads split in two. There are only two paths in life. God said that even now, "(Jeremiah 32:19) He pays attention to all the ways of mankind."
If we look at the typical way of life in the Bible, we see the way of Adam and Eve. There is God's way, which is the way of obedience according to God's word and commandments, and the way that the enemy the devil likes. Adam and Eve chose the way of rebellion, rebellion, and disobedience, and their end was different. The way of Cain is found in Jude 1:11, and the way of Cain and Abel is shown in Genesis chapter 4. Sacrifice is the answer, and because of the unanswered thing, there are two ways in which murder occurs between brothers due to envy and hatred.
There were 8 families of Noah and the Nephilim who were living at that time, and the Nephilim ridiculed, ridiculed, and disturbed them. However, Noah completed the ark and chose the path of salvation for 8 families. The Bible tells us that there are two ways: the way of Esau and Jacob, the way of Joseph and his brothers, the way of David and Saul, the way of Balaam, the way of Korah, the way of Achan, the way of Judah Iscariot, and the way of Ananias and Sapphira. you show So Moses said these words at the time of farewell to the people of Israel. Blessings and curses are not in other places, but in oneself. “Deuteronomy 11:26 I set before you today a blessing and a curse (Deuteronomy 11:27) and it will be a blessing if you will hear the commands of the Lord your God, which I am giving you today (Deuteronomy 11:28). If you turn from the way I am commanding you today, and not obey the command of the LORD your God, but follow other gods of which you have not known before, you will be cursed."
The road to riches is hell
The path chosen by the rich man was ultimately a bittersweet path to Hades. What he did in the world was "to communicate in splendor every day in purple and fine linen" (16:19). There is no doubt that a rich person is a person who has a lot of money and a lot of wealth. Purple clothes were worn by those with money and power at that time, such as the powerful or the prime minister. The poor couldn't wear it because they didn't have money, but they couldn't wear it either. Fine linen is woven from very fine yarn made from papyrus from the Nile River, and fine linen means expensive. And he was in touch with luxury every day. He fed even the puppies in his house good, but only made Lazarus outside his door eat the crumbs falling from the table. He went on to worldly pleasures and selfish end, and ended up agonizing over the torments of the genitals.
Rich Man's Appeal in Drinking
The rich man clearly sees what he will see in Hell. Even though he had already come to the pit of unavoidable suffering, he only appealed to the brothers not to come here. It is the last testament of compassion and compassion as an older brother to his brothers and sisters. Although unanswered, apparently the rich man in Hell had two great concerns and appeals.
The first tried some relief from the torments of hell. It was an appeal to have Lazarus, a beggar eat at the gate of his house, dip the tip of his finger in water to cool my tongue.
The second is an appeal of responsibility to save Lazarus by raising Lazarus to life while begging that his five brothers, who still live in the world like himself, are licentious and buried in sin.
Therefore, we can see well that the salvation of lost souls is a major concern and compassion for the saints in Heaven and those in Hell. Let's keep in mind that all the saints in heaven long for and rejoice in being saved, and even those who suffer in hell want their brothers and sisters to be saved first.
In conclusion, two eternally separated worlds are deeply concerned with sinners. What people in both worlds pray for is equally focused on the salvation of all people. Those in Hell are raising their eyes and begging that someone go and warn them and preach the gospel of life to their brothers who are living on this earth without being saved. Although he fell to hell, the rich man's plea for the salvation of his brothers is heard today as a loud cry in our ears. A voice that asks Moses and the prophets to hear, that is the eternal good news that you and I must go to them. “Whoever does not take care of his relatives, especially his own family, has betrayed the faith and is worse than an unbeliever” (1 Timothy 5:8). Brothers and sisters grew up together from a very young age, and the inseparable path is to have compassion and affection. The influence of the brothers we shared in our mother's womb is so great, how deeply care and compassion do we have for the souls of our brothers while we are alive?
