Title Two sources of fruitful life
2 Corinthians (39) The second source of fruitful life (2 Corinthians 9:10-15)
1. Sharing
Also, saying “thank God” is a challenge for those who help. In other words, the person giving the help should not have the consciousness of “I gave it to me”, but must have the consciousness of “delivering what God has given to those who need it.” God is the orchestra conductor for holy sharing, and we are the members of that orchestra. So, when you give the impression of sharing, share it and buy it.
Sharing is the evidence of sincere faith in the gospel and submission to the gospel, and it is an act that brings glory to God (verse 13). Sharing also connects people's hearts spiritually (verse 14). Furthermore, sharing leads to more valuable and valuable things. Ecclesiastes 11:1 says this: “You throw your plants over the water. I will find it again in many days.” If you share with an unconditional heart, you will unexpectedly reap a lot of fruit in the future.
After all, sharing is also the biggest factor in preparing for the blessings of children. Nowadays, many parents try to leave a lot to their children, but if they leave too much material to their children, they often ruin their children. If you truly want your children to become blessed beings, share a lot with your neighbors as the Bible says and help the poor.
In 1950, Albert Schweitzer was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and Albert Camus was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. Schweitzer built a hospital in Africa with a $1 million Nobel Prize. Camus, on the other hand, built a villa near Paris and enjoyed there every weekend. Then on Sunday morning, while running to the villa with his lover, he died in a car accident. How unfortunate? said Carnegie. “It is a shame to die with money left behind. Write and go for God and for your neighbor.” When we share like this, we bear much fruit in life and bring happiness.
2. Dream
In the process of giving and receiving grace, the Apostle Paul finally chose the word ‘thanks’ and thanked God for giving us grace, blessings, and hearts to share (verse 15). With such a grateful heart, give it to God with sincerity. In Malachi chapter 3, God gives us abundant blessings if we dedicate ourselves to it, but he firmly told us to wait and see if that promise is really fulfilled. Keep that word in your heart and try to dedicate yourself to it. That dedication will never be in vain.
God rewards those who know how to give with blessings. If God gives a lot to those who do not know how to give, it is not a blessing but a curse. You need to know how to give, so that blessing becomes a real blessing. If you sometimes feel poverty in spirit and body, then above all else, check your devotion life and start anew on the 'road of devotion'. If you believe in God and dedicate yourself diligently, you will first be freed from poverty and oppression in your heart, and the road will gradually open and you will receive the blessing of becoming prosperous.
There are two types of faith. First, there is the ‘human-led belief’ that humans take the lead and that God rewards the actions of humans. If you have that kind of faith, you will do things that bring you blessings, so I think God should reward you. So, even when donating, I donate while thinking about the reward, and if there is no reward, I immediately complain, “Why did I dedicated myself, but why is there no blessing?” After all, it is not 'thanks to God', but 'uses God'.
Second, there is a ‘God-led faith’ that God controls everything and humans respond to God’s providence. If you have that kind of faith, you will know all things by the grace of God, and even if there are hardships, you will work together for good, and thank you. So, when you donate, you give thanks to God's grace without any conditions. Always be grateful for God's grace and become blessed spirits who prepare for tomorrow's great blessings by practicing sharing horizontally and giving vertically.
