Proverbs 4:10-27
A metaphor for the traveler to express life as the path from cradle to grave is written by the wise

One, the path of wisdom/

Two, the way of the wicked/16,17,19
It is described as "a crooked way" in 2:12-15.
1) That way is an evil way. The wise know that their 'foot will not stumble'
While they sleep sweetly, the wicked have trouble sleeping unless they "fall them down" (v. 16). Ouch
One feels that nothing sweetens their sleep as much as a day's worth of evil. they are guilty
No sedatives are needed to relieve the pain of guilt (Job 33:15-18).
It is as natural to the field as eating and drinking (v. 17).
2) That road is a dark road. Verse 19 “dark darkness” means the darkness of calamity and the land of Egypt.
It is the darkness that covered it (Ex. 10:22). The prophets called for the dreadful day of God's judgment, the "Jehovah's
