Key Verse: “The end of all things is near; therefore, be sober and sober and pray” (verse 7).
Word: There are things that people do not do well even after they decide that they must do it in life. Even after making a decision to do proper exercise every morning for health management, I get dazed after a few days, and people who smoke cigarettes put on the slogan 'I am ready to die and stop smoking' and then start smoking again after a while. Often it cannot be achieved.
The same is true in the life of faith. This is especially true of the 'prayer life', an issue we all need to deeply reflect on today. Even after making a decision about the prayer life, such as, ‘I will become a saint in the morning prayer, I must pray three times a day like Daniel, prayer is all-purpose, and you will be blessed with prayer’, there are many cases where you do not fulfill your prayer life properly.
How are you? How much time do you spend with God out of 24 hours a day? The early church members who appeared in the book of Acts were in a poor environment in every way compared to us living in modern times. Massive persecution, economic poverty, inconvenient transportation, small numbers of members, and poor education. Nevertheless, the early church was a great church, a church filled with the Holy Spirit, and a church that changed world history.
What is the answer? It was because he was sober, sober, and devoted himself to prayer. While the early church members were working hard in prayer, they were filled with the Holy Spirit, and when they were filled with the Holy Spirit, the work of life, the work of power, and the flames of praise and evangelism began to spring out in all directions.
Like the early church members, let's stay awake and do our best in prayer. Start your day with prayer. When you pray, the Lord will answer you and work. Kneeling to the Lord will save you from spiritual poverty. You can stand up from a life of helplessness. You can restore your devastated spiritual life. Only through prayer can the nation eradicate conflicts and antagonisms and become one.
Why does the Lord so earnestly command us to pray? Because if you pray, you will experience God's love. Just as lovers often meet and talk, if you go to God often and talk, you will experience the great and wonderful love of God.
If you pray, you will have a deep communion with God. Happy families have conversations. Comfort and comfort each other during the conversation. The same goes for your relationship with God. You become happy by communing with God through conversation of prayer.
If you pray, you will experience the power of God and live by the power of the Lord. The work of God's power and blessings come to us through prayer. Just as there are natural principles in the natural world and physical principles in the human body, there are also spiritual principles in the spiritual world, which is to receive God's power and blessings through prayer. Let's all live a blessed life by becoming prayer saints.
