Title Usaenggong (The best study of our life)
Text/ Deuteronomy 6:4-9
1. Introduction
In the meantime, we meditated on (1) the general meaning of study and (2) the joy of studying. Today (3) What is the best study in our life? I would like to share grace while meditating on the topic.
2. Why, eugenics (the best study of our lives)?
However, the problem is that both those who have obtained an advanced certificate by studying this world diligently or those who have obtained a low-level certificate because they did not study this world are equally problematic in terms of human existence (joys and sorrows in human relationships, stress over one’s livelihood, spiritual thirst , life and death problems, etc.). As the history of mankind over the past thousands of years has shown, these problems of human existence cannot be solved forever by studying for any other qualifications in the world.
Therefore, the Bible tells us that those who cannot solve this problem, no matter how great the qualifications of the king or queen, are deer hungry for a stream (Psalm 42:1), a foolish rich man (Luke 12:13-21 ), and the wind is like chaff (Psalm 1:4). Indeed it is. Amen! No is it?
If so, how are you? Where is the answer? The Bible says, "The wisdom that God gives to each person's heart-sexuality-Site Im Leben (life situation)!" You said. He said that the solution to man's existential problems is not the knowledge that can be obtained by studying this world, but the study of wisdom that comes from God. Jesus said, “Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). Therefore, studying every word that comes out of the mouth of God is the eugenics work (the best study of our lives).
3. What is the wisdom of eugenics (the best study of our lives)?
first. Although knowledge and wisdom may seem similar, they are completely different. Knowledge is horizontal-objective-general knowledge. Wisdom is vertical-subjective-your own special knowledge.
(1) Everyone knows the saying, “Patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet.” Knowledge at that time is knowledge. However, to those who have persevered with blood and sweat, saved a decent home, and experienced infinite joy, those words are knowledge as wisdom. (2) When a person with knowledge is in trouble, he uses his knowledge to barely get out of it (a person without knowledge cannot get out of it). A wise person does not fall into such a predicament in the first place. (3) Finding the true mother of Solomon was wisdom (1 Kings 16-28). But if anyone who has read Solomon's Wisdom has used it in a similar situation, it is knowledge.
second. Knowledge is mastery of the existing paradigm. Wisdom is a flash of intuition-insight-seventh sense that creates a new paradigm that is completely different from the existing one. Knowledge makes people obsessed with 儀文 (question). Wisdom transcends questions. The Bible says that it is the Spirit that gives life to these things, but the flesh is of no use (John 6:63). Not the old things (Romans 7:6) *For doubt is what kills, but the spirit gives life (2 Corinthians 3:6).
In the 8th century BC, the prophet Amos said to Israel, who had betrayed God, "Return to God, and God will return to you." When no one realized that Israel would be destroyed in the not-too-distant future because of sin, “Return to God and you will live!” It suggests a paradigm that It was wisdom.
In the 6th century BC, the prophet Isaiah said to Israel in captivity in Babylon, "Comfort, ye my people, and speak to Jerusalem. When everyone thought that our captivity was due to our sins, he proclaimed “unconditional forgiveness that God has forgiven now” rather than conditional salvation like Amos, “if we return to God we will live”. It is a paradigm different from the days of Amos (Jeremiah 31:31-34). It was wisdom.
third. It is 十人十色 (twelfth color). The content of hunger is different for each person in each era. That is why Amos' proclamation was different from Isaiah's proclamation. The shape is different, but the grain is the same. This is God's wisdom. Because there are people who are rebuked and saved, and there are people who are comforted and saved. On the other hand, there are those who are reproved and more devious, and there are those who are comforted and more indulgent.
Therefore, when we diligently study “every word that comes out of the mouth of God” in order to solve the existential problems of each of us, we can reach salvation by receiving and serving God’s wisdom that fits each person’s disposition-life situation-personality. is.
