Things that please God (1 John 3:22-23)

There are so many ways humans can please humans. Also, behavior that disappoints or harms far outweighs praise.

However, for us living in a harsh world, it is very rare to give in a way that pleases others / without payment.

In particular, the problem is that even Christians who claim to have faith are unfamiliar with the work of other creatures in a distant country to imitate the Lord of service.

What are the goals of Christians? The ultimate goal is to be saved and to have eternal life and to wish for blessings with God's grace even in life on this earth.

However, rather than being blessed with God's grace, my thoughts and solutions take precedence.

is.

Human behavior is not always perfect. Also, lack of satisfaction leads to bigger accidents.

Human greed is a weak being to overthrow the great power of Satan. James 1:15 says, “When lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.” In the end, what is accomplished with human power is that we are seized by the power of death. If so, where can we find true joy and happiness?

We are children who have already been saved by the grace of God. There is no one greater than God in this world. If God achieves it, there is nothing that cannot be done, and there is no lack.

Today, if we want to receive God's grace, we must understand God's method.

The first task we must implement is to find a way to please God. Let's read verse 22 again.

The second half of the verse commands us to keep the commandments and do the things that are pleasing before them.

So, what is it that pleases God?

First, it is the words of verse 23, “believing in the name of his Son Jesus Christ”.

The first thing we need to do is trust. In Hebrews 11:5-6, it is said that Enoch was transferred by faith without seeing death, and that by faith he received the testimony that he was an acceptable God to God. In Genesis 5:24, “Enoch was walking with God, and he was not in the world, because God took him.”

How is your life? In the continuation, Hebrews 11:6 warns. “Without faith it is impossible to please” God is not pleased with those who do not believe in God, and God does not work through such people. God always gives glory to those who depend on the Lord and live in the world according to His will.

Second, the second half of verse 23. “Let us love one another.” Scholars often refer to Romans 8 as a chapter of hope. And 1 Corinthians 13 is called the love chapter, and Hebrews 11 is called the faith chapter.

Also, 1 John 4 teaches the essence of that love, its role, and its consequences. Verse 8 rebukes those who do not love because they do not know God.

And God is love, and he reminds us that those who do not love do not know God, but are like the dead. “Faith, hope, love, and the greatest of these is love” in 1 Corinthians 13, because God is love.

Love is what pleases God, and to spread and share that love is to teach His commandments. Verse 22 adds to our hope, that to him who has faith, doing what is pleasing in the sight of God, we will receive from him whatever we ask.

Finally, “He who keeps his commandments abides in the Lord, and the Lord abides in him, for we know that he abides in us by the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” Matthew 28:22 gives us a lesson and a promise, saying that the Lord is with those who keep the commandments of the Lord, those who teach the commandments of the Lord, and even to the end of the world.

Dear saints, it is a good idea for us to please God. However, we must realize what is the right way to please God with our own strength.

That is, when we do what pleases God, the Lord is pleased, and thus we are filled with infinite sufficiency.

not in our own strength. Leave it to the Lord, not my opinion. Please obey the will of the Lord. Put my passion in the hands of the Lord, the end of man is set, and what is revealed will rot. If the Lord accomplishes it, nothing is impossible.

“Matthew 21:21-22” Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, if you have faith and have no doubts, not only do these things that were done to this fig tree, You can do it/ When you pray, believe and believe that you have received everything you ask for. Believe that those who abide in the Lord are blessed. Good luck to you all.
