Title Whatever You Sow (Galatians 6:7-10)

Contents

Now is the time to sow seeds and plant grain. God makes what is planted grow and bear fruit. God makes sure to reap what you sow. Those who neglect to sow have no joy in reaping. I hate those who sow bad things, but they will only reap bad things. If you do not sow, you will not reap.

(This famous painting we are looking at is a painting called "The Sower" by Vincent van Gogh.)

There are those who want to reap without sowing. There are some people who plant bad things and reap good things. Some are irresponsible people who sow and refuse to reap.

(Yesterday, a middle school daughter strangled her father to death. The motive of the crime was not taking care of the family and drinking alcohol and entering the house, beating the mother, harassing the sick grandfather, and always beating the children. It is said that he ended up choking while trying to stop the behavior of his father. It is very unfortunate. If you have a family, you shouldn't be held responsible. If you get married and have children, you should be responsible. Because there are more, such unfortunate things happen.)

You reap what you sow. This is an immutable law. There is no reaping without sowing. And you reap what you sow.

As a Spanish proverb says, "Sow a thought and reap an action, sow an action and reap a habit, sow a habit and reap a character, sow a character and reap a destiny".

Saints! I hope that you will become saints who sow good thoughts and reap good lives.

Sow good deeds and reap good habits.

I hope you will cultivate good habits and reap good character.

I wish you good luck by planting a good character.

The Apostle Paul said, "Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap" (Galatians 6:7). Please don't get caught up in the thought that a person can break God's law. God is not mocked.

The meaning of this Greek word translated “to despise” or “to despise” (KJV) in verse 7 of today’s text means “to set your nose up before God.” There are some Christians who raise their noses before God. However, we must remember that God is not neglected. I sincerely hope that you will live with your noses bowed before God.

You reap what you sow. It is an unchangeable law of nature that the one who sows bountifully reaps a bountiful harvest and the one who sows little reaps little. You will learn that you will reap in proportion to what you sow.

And when the time comes, you will reap.

While there are barley, rice, and vegetables that are harvested within one year, there are fruits such as pears and apples that are harvested after 7 or 10 years. Therefore, the Apostle Paul said in (Galatians 6:9), "Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we are not weary."

There were several reasons for the sinking of a passenger ship off the coast of Wido, Sinan-gun a few years ago, but there was a decisive cause. The waves were so strong that when I turned the rudder to return from the direction I was going, the waves hit the side of the boat and the boat toppled to one side. A ship will never sink as long as it moves forward no matter how many waves it is.

Here we learn a valuable lesson. What should be the attitude of a believer?

No matter what happens, you must not change the direction of your faith. You must not turn back. It is the right attitude of a believer to keep moving forward while looking at the Lord.

Our life is a life of sowing and reaping seeds. It is planted every day, and what has been sown before will be reaped in due time. At home, at church, and in society, we must learn through nature that what we sow is what we reap.

But God tells us to be careful "where we plant." No matter how much you plant, no matter how good you plant, no matter how diligently you plant, if you plant it without paying attention to where to plant it, there is a problem.

Today's text points to two possible types of soil: the body and the Spirit.

There is a field of the flesh and a field of the Spirit. Those who sow in the field of the flesh will reap the fruit of sin, the corruption. The joy and peace shared with Christ will be eroded.

Byron, an 18th-century English writer, planted his whole life into his body. He wrote this, knowing what kind of fruit he would reap.

"My life is now like a leaf that has turned yellow, the flowers and fruits of love are all gone, only the worms and the boils and sorrows remain with me!"

If we live without scale according to the nature of our fallen flesh, we will cause physical and moral corruption, and we will lose our good spiritual character.

It is said that it is very important to avoid water veins when constructing a building. It is said that this water vein affects no matter how tall a building is built.

If you sow in the field of the Holy Spirit, you will receive eternal life. In order to promote the things of the Spirit, we must sow seeds in the field of the Spirit.

Cleveland, the 22nd and 24th President of the United States, is said to have led a very debauched life as a young man. But one day, as I was passing by a church with a prodigal friend, a passage from the Bible caught my eye: “The wages of sin is death, and the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 8:23 It was. Cleveland felt like he had been sentenced to death.

He immediately went to church, and a friend with him went into a bar.

And the separation at that time became an eternal separation.

Thirty years later, one man became the owner of the White House and the other went to jail for life in prison.

Dear saints,

The Holy Spirit will work, help, and guide you so that those who plant in the field of the Holy Spirit will never regret.

I have to plant first.

Don't wait for others to plant, you must plant first. I have to sow forgiveness first, then love first, and then concern first. If I sow first, I will surely reap what I sow.

Dear saints,

You reap what you sow. You never reap what you sow; you sow little and you do not reap much; you sow and there is no way not to reap. Therefore, we bless you in the name of the Lord that you will sow good things and reap good things.
