Title: When the Whole Comes...!
In a word, the religious life of the Jews who lived under the law was nothing more than a life in the type of Christ to come. When they went to the temple to slaughter cattle, and slaughtered sheep and offered burnt offerings, they were all just an exercise in believing in the coming Christ. But the Jews did not think so. They believed that what they were doing was faith in God and faith like a rock. As a result, their righteousness increased as their righteousness increased, and even the Son sent by God was mercilessly nailed to the cross.
Now, this is showing signs of repeating itself for Christians living under the law of the Holy Spirit. Today's Christians, like the Jews who live under the law, today go to the chapel to worship and worship is nothing more than an exercise in believing in Christ, who will come spiritually before Christians in the future.
But Christians don't think so. What they are doing is that they are mistaken for good faith in God and deep faith. As a result, Christians today, like Jews, do not know how to rise to heaven, and even if Christ comes and preaches the truth to them, it is obvious that they will not believe.
So, why do these ridiculous things happen?
In a word, the deep providence of God cannot be known at all by human wisdom. The second generation, who settled in the land of Canaan, thoroughly knew through the contents of the Bible how their first generation ancestors escaped from Egypt and committed some kind of sin in the wilderness, and they all died because of the wrath of God. Nevertheless, they too had settled in the land of Canaan and continued to repeat the same mistakes made by their ancestors.
How foolish would it be if people in the past made a mistake and knew that it was a great sin before God, but they also continued to do the same? The problem, however, is that these false facts can never be realized with a stupid human brain. If there was anyone in this world who could make even one person realize this wrong fact, he would not have said that Christ would come again. The only person who can make known the deep providence of God is Christ, who has been sent by God and comes. He alone makes men aware of God's providence. That is why he will soon become the savior of mankind.
At the time of Jesus, no matter how many oxen and sheep were slaughtered and sacrificed to God as burnt offerings, God could not forgive their sins. It is only given as a type of Christ to come, and it is because human sins cannot be forgiven through such a thing. If the blood of animals had the power to forgive man's sins, then Christ would not need to come. However, after the first man, Adam, disobeyed God's word in the Garden of Eden and went under Satan's feet, he needed human blood without blemish, not animal blood, to bring humans back from there. For this reason, Christ came to the land of Israel in the flesh.
Christ, who came in the flesh, saved the Israelites who were dying under the law when they believed in Him and came out from their sins. But those who did not believe in themselves could not, even if they wanted to save them, because even Christ could not forcefully blot out their sins.
Now it was the turn of the Gentiles. Gentiles who believed in Jesus and received the Holy Spirit are people who live under the spiritual law. If Jews living under the law believe in Jesus who came in the flesh, they will be set free from the law and receive the Holy Spirit through the blood of Jesus, leading to complete salvation. The Holy Spirit at this time is not the Holy Spirit of salvation, but from now on, as God's people, he is given only one duty to keep the law.
However, like the law, the Holy Spirit is also without anyone who can fully obey it. As a result, naturally, everyone disobeys the Holy Spirit and becomes one with the world. Just as Jews live their lives unaware that it is a sin even though they break the law, Christians too, if they break the Holy Spirit, it becomes a sin before God, and for this reason, they forget that they will receive terrible judgment before God on the last day. They believe that if they call, all sins will be forgiven and everyone will go to heaven.
Wouldn't it be great if everyone were like this, as they thought? However, the Bible records that no one can enter the kingdom of heaven without removing even one gulp of iniquity. So, who can be free from the sin of disobeying the Holy Spirit? There will be no such person anywhere in the world. So, who can blot out this iniquity? No matter what anyone says, only Christ can save us from our sin against the Holy Spirit.
That is why Christ said in the Bible, ?쏧 will go as a thief.??These words were not spoken with in mind the Second Coming in the air, but with the intention of coming again before Christians living under the law of the Holy Spirit.
The purpose of Christ's coming again is to save the people of Israel who live under the law, just as Christians have violated the law of the Holy Spirit and are destined to die, so He comes again to deliver them from the sins of those who come out of Him and bring them all to salvation. When Christ comes, it doesn't matter whether you believe or not. If anyone honestly admits his or her error and comes out believing in Christ as the Son of God, He will bring them all to salvation. However, even the people of God who have received the Holy Spirit, those who do not believe in the Son cannot blot out their sins (sin against the Holy Spirit), so even though they want to save them, they cannot do so.
Some of you may have questions about this statement. "no! What will happen to all those people who have believed in Jesus until now???Since what they have believed and come out of so far is only a model, no one can achieve eternal life unless they get rid of their sins. They appear to have faith, but in reality, they have faith in their convictions, and they want to believe in the results of their efforts, not faith given from heaven. Faith given from heaven means faith given through Christ.
In today's text, "When the perfect comes, the partial things will be destroyed." This means that everything that has been done in the church as a model until now will be abolished. After all these things are abolished, the perfect thing is that Christ will come and directly save the souls who have been dying under sin in violation of God's law and word. This is the reason why we should long for the perfect (Christ).
