Title Where are you? (Genesis 3:1-6)

Contents

where are you

After God created the world, he gave it all to someone who resembles you and told him to take good care of it. Then he gave me a warning, which said not to eat the fruit of the tree in the center of the garden. The fruit is said to be the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil. However, despite knowing this fact, humans fall into the seduction of the snake and eat the fruit. Humans, who knew good and evil, were ashamed to see themselves naked, and lived in hiding from the face of God. So God seeks them, but they cannot come before God. Because human beings were full of shame that they could not stand before God. Now, through this event, God makes us aware of something very important.

1. The words of the Bible make us know why we became sinners.

Perhaps the saddest story in Genesis is the expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. They were cast out because they had sinned. Because he broke the word in the garden of the word that God made himself, he could no longer be filled with the word of God.

① If you abide in the word of God, you are in Eden. ② Hearing Satan's words is death.

③ A sacrificial lamb is needed for recovery.

2. Adam and Eve are our ancestors, the father of the flesh, the father of sinners, and we are their descendants.

If we place the blame on Adam and Eve for man's expulsion from the Garden of Eden, then we are human beings like Adam and Eve. When God pointed out Adam's fault, Adam attributed it to his wife's woman, and the woman avoided her sin by saying it was because of the serpent. These imputations and avoidance have become our very nature. Therefore, even now, if we impute to Adam and his wife Eve, the ancestors of mankind, that they were expelled from the Garden of Eden, we are admitting that we are the same sinners. We must repent of our sins and say, “It is because of me” in a situation of suffering. God wants sincere repentance. The returned prodigal son Jesus spoke of explains this. (Explanation of Zacchaeus Luke 19:1~10)

“The Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

3. Even now, God is calling us to find our lost children.

I still can't forget the call of Jesus. I couldn't stand it any longer due to the alcohol I drank until late in the evening in Yongsan, and I was vomiting on one platform, and suddenly someone grabbed the nape of my neck and threw me away. I think that I have experienced God's call that I will never forget in my life. Then someone grabbed me by the nape and threw me, “Hey, calm down”. These words at this time were not the words of a human being, but a decisive event in which he saw himself again, who had been lost in the dark in his sins. God still has work to do for me, so the moment Satan tempts me and grabs me by the neck and tries to go to hell, God uses a powerful protective hand to cut off Satan's snatches and bring me into the arms of the Lord. I can't express anything other than gratitude, thanks, and thanks all the time. Today, I earnestly pray that all the saints will hear the “Where are you?” that I sang while desperately looking for Adam today, and that you will meet God again.
