Title Who evangelizes? (1) - The lost

Contents

<Message> - This is the story of a father with two sons. The eldest son always puts his father's heart at ease by understanding his father's inner feelings, while the second son was a troublemaker because he was arrogant, hot-headed, and very active. Such a second son finally declares to run away, takes his inheritance, goes to a distant country, and returns after wasting it. The father is waiting for such a son, and he is holding a local feast to say that his dead son has returned. We will also go take a look.

<Understanding the content>

1. Preparing for the second runaway (11-12)

Demands property (inheritance) from father - Father without hesitation divides the property between his two sons.

2. The second runaway life (immigration life) (13-20 phases) - “I wasted all my fortune there in vain”

1) Hurry to run away - A few days after the inheritance, he quickly disposes of his property (in cash) and leaves for a distant country.

2) Immigration Life - Wasting property in vain debauchery.

① There is a famine in the country, and poverty comes.

② Attached to the people of the country 3 - Get a job at a pig farm.

Diet - Situation where you cannot eat even after eating pig feed

③ Enlightenment in that country - how many laborers my father had abundantly

I starve to death here.

I have to say to my father - I have sinned against heaven and against the Father, so make me a laborer and not a son.

④ Liquidation of life in that country - Then he got up and went back to his father.

3. The second homecoming (under 20 - : 32)

1) Father's waiting - He is still far away, but when his father sees him, he takes pity on him, he hugs his neck and kisses him.

2) Son's repentance - I have sinned against heaven and against the Father, and I cannot afford to be called your son.

3) To welcome the father's son - to his servants - Put on the best clothes, put the ring finger on your hand, and put on shoes on your feet.

Catch, eat and enjoy the fattened calf (banquet):

My son died and came back to life. Lost and found again.

4) The firstborn son's reaction - Hearing the sound of a feast on the way home from the field (I was working hard)

① Report to the servant - Your brother has returned and your father has killed a fat calf.

② Regarding the report to the servant - is angry and does not want to enter the house.

(When my father came out) - I have served my father for many years and have never disobeyed his orders, but he did not give me even a goat to enjoy with his friends. Do you kill a fat calf for your son who swallowed up his father’s livelihood with prostitutes?

5) Father's response to the wrath of the firstborn - ①“You are always with me, and everything that is mine is mine.

② My brother died and came to life, so he lost it and gained it.

③ We deserve to be happy.

<message>

1. Let's think about whether I have any brothers who have lost spiritually.

2. Rather than rebuking the prodigal son for his wanderings, the father is the one who died and the one who returned. Let us know that the only thing that is lost and gained is the heart.

3. The lost person must have a heart to find it. (There is no reason to seek the thought of a person who left the house on his own feet.)

4. Even now, my Father (God) is standing outside the door waiting for someone to return to his house.
