Sermons for Preaching

Title Isaiah 02:22 Someone to lean on

Contents When man was created, the material was earth (Genesis 2:7). When God made it out of dust and breathed life into his nostrils, he became a living spirit (Genesis 2:7). However, the perfect image of God lost its living soul because of sin. The reason the living spirit was lost is because it was exchanged for the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The 'price of sin' produced by that disobedience was death (Genesis 2:17). “…Sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in the same way death spread to all men, because all sinned” (Romans 5:12).

Since all human races are of one blood (Acts 17:26), all humans (life) are sinners, and nothing can replace the sinner's death that was given to the first man, Adam. Even if you fast, make an oath, take an oath, or make a decision, the sin will continue to come out.

I am a sinner now because I am not a sinner because I have sinned, but because I am a descendant of a sinner. So, it is natural for sin to come from man. The Bible says that the plans of the heart are evil from an early age (Genesis 8:21).

A couple fighting? What is the brother's mistake? Is your child upset? We take these things for granted in our daily lives. Because everyone has a sinful nature, there is nothing we can do about it.

People try to live a life of comfort through the interrelationship of faith between people. However, the more you trust and rely on a sinner, the more disappointment and hurt you become. So, the text (Isaiah 2:22) tells us not to depend on the end of life when the nose breathing is over.

Even if you are thirsty now and can't stand it, don't depend on anyone. Man should be understood and tolerated, not the subject of will. Even the great Apostle Paul learns that it is not him who causes the sin, but “sin” (Romans 7:17).

Don't rely on life (people). “People love themselves, they love money, they are proud, proud, slanderers, disobedient to their parents, unthankful, unholy” (2 Timothy 3:2). Don't be fooled anymore, don't be tied down, and change the object of your will now. If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. The Lord is saying (John 7:37-38). Then rivers of living water will satisfy our souls.
