Title Isaiah 43:1-7 Happy Day
Content Isaiah 43:1-7
Are you saints happy? If you are happy, why? Most people think that self-satisfaction through possession is a condition of happiness. But we Christians should make God's joy our joy and God's happiness our happiness. To do that, we need to know when and how to make God happy and prepare for it.
In Luke 15, God appears in the form of the Father. The rich father had two sons. The father had a plan to inherit all of his business when his sons grow up and have the ability to manage the business well. However, the younger son doesn't care about his father's heart and forces him to inherit the inheritance in advance. And after he sold all of them and left the house, he became a beggar in debauchery.
The second son wanted to eat even the fruit of the swine tree to his full satisfaction, but no one gave it to him. The second son, who starved to death, thinks of his father's house. “How many hired laborers in my father’s house are plentiful?”
He returns home with the intention of begging his father to accept him as a laborer. But what happened? As soon as you enter the town, doesn't your father run out? The father has never forgotten his son since he left home. He recognizes his son returning as a beggar from afar, runs out, embraces him, and dances with joy.
"My son is back! My son has not died and is alive! Let's slaughter the fat calf and have a feast."
Who can understand the heart of a father when he meets his son who has returned alive? Happy Day is a day when God, who saved a dying soul by giving his only begotten Son to the cross, dances with joy. God considers human beings created in God's image more precious than anything else in the world. And he honors and loves the elect more than all nations. Therefore, for us who have come to a point of death due to our sins and transgressions of disobedience, He accomplished perfect salvation through the grace of the atonement of Jesus Christ on the cross.
Happy Day is a heavenly feast that rejoices in the salvation of souls. Happy Day is the day when lost souls return to the Father, and the Father dances for joy. It is also the day when the faithful workers are blessed and the stars of the sky are attached to their hearts. God is pleased to use all of us as workers in this precious feast.
