Title Judges 15:14-20 Pathway of Power

Contents Judges 15:14-20

Samson was born with the blessing and grace of God. He was not an ordinary man, he was a Nazarite, and he was born with extraordinary abilities.

He had the physical strength and wisdom enough to lightly break the threefold cord that bound his body and kill 1,000 people by himself in the Philistine army, the strongest nation in Canaan.

But Samson became proud. In verse 16 he exclaimed, "I have killed a thousand men with the jawbone of a donkey." He was proud that he had accomplished it with the talents and abilities God had given him. However, all of Samson's abilities were given by God. When we forget this, crises and hardships come.

In verse 18, Samson is 'extremely thirsty' and is at the moment of death. Eventually, you realize your limits. You will admit that this power is not yours but comes from God. And he confesses, "You have provided this great salvation through your servant." The moment I felt thirsty and suffering, the moment I felt my limitations and lack, I was able to look to God and acknowledge that God has accomplished it.

There are moments in our lives when we experience thirst. A situation where I cannot do anything on my own is an important moment to discover the power of God. At that moment, man seeks God and earnestly seeks that power.

In verse 19, 'Enhakkore' means 'fountain of those who cry'. When you live by prayer, you will receive the fountain of God's grace and blessings. When we cry out, we will receive a fountain of blessing and we will have the source of the fountain. If you use prayer, the greatest spiritual weapon, to come before God, the fountain of your life will come out through the Lord, the source of power.

The more difficult and difficult, the more we must live a life that approaches God's throne of grace every day. In order for my life and my life to always overflow with the fountain of life and blessings, I must live before the throne of the Lord. That's when the en-hak-gore will burst into our lives.

It's okay if you don't have great power like Samson. It's okay if you don't have the great knowledge and wisdom like Solomon. It's okay not to own a lot of material. It's okay if you don't have a strong family and people background. We have a channel of power to experience the greatest God.

Our God who answers and gives a fountain to those who cry out is our most precious power. I hope that you do not become discouraged because you do not have the strength and are thirsty, but raise your heads up and pray earnestly to God.
