Title Judges 06:11-18 Pioneering blessings
Contents Judges 6:11-18
When President Barack Obama took office as the 44th President of the United States, he read the Bible together with the oath of office. “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).
What does it mean for a president who leads a country to take the oath of office with the word of God? It must have been that God wanted God to heal and bless this land in any situation that man could not do.
The reason God gave Jacob's hand because of his many human shortcomings was because he valued God's blessings and grace. To such a person, God raises his hand, gives blessings, and serves as a door of hope so that they can become pioneers of blessings.
Then, what should we do to become a pioneer of blessing?
First, when God looks at people, he does not look at the present state, but the future possibility. Gideon, Moses, Joshua, and Peter are all such people. A person who works actively with even a small amount of courage, God promises to be with him and sets him up as a great warrior later.
Second, we must have faith in obedience. As those who overcome have a habit of winning, those who obey have a habit of being obedient. Gideon, who was threshing wheat in the winepress, obeyed God's command to destroy Baal and Asherah, so that when the Midianites invaded, Gideon rose from his seat and blew the trumpet to summon all Israel.
Third, God must be with you. Gideon was able to become a great warrior not because he learned how to use a weapon or borrowed armor, but because the Spirit of God came upon him. Please do not forget that the best of all is God is with us.
Lastly, above all else, you must take good care of yourself. Those who want to cultivate blessings are those who know that there is who God wants and take good care of themselves. By making our thoughts blessed, our words virtuous, and our deeds good, we have to be in the image that pleases God. By engraving these things in our hearts and putting them into practice, we become pioneers of blessings. I sincerely congratulate you on becoming the protagonist.
