Title Let's make the trouble of dissolution
content agment>
Let's do the labor of childbirth (Galatians 4:1-19)
1. The problem of the Galatia church
(1) Paul preached the gospel while going to Galatia and established a church. However, while Paul was leaving the Galatia church and missionary work, a big problem arose in the church. False teachers came to the churches in Galatia and taught a different gospel, so they were tempted by those who preached a different gospel, so they made enemies of Paul and also abandoned the gospel of Christ.
※What is the core of the gospel that saves souls? (Verses 1-7)
(2) However, there were people in the Galatia church who forced them to keep the law. These people are the ones who make the difference between the Galatian church members and Paul (vv.
2. The labor of spiritual dissolution (v. 19)
(1) Evangelism is the work of begetting souls (1 Corinthians 4:15).
(2) Evangelism can only be accomplished when you are filled with the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8). An evangelist must be filled with the Holy Spirit to move people's hearts (John 1:16).
⑶ Man is a spiritual being. Spiritual problems are problems of sin (Matthew 11:29).
3. The image of Christ
(1) The image of Christ is the image of God (2 Corinthians 4:4, Phil 2:6, Col 1:15, Hebrews 1:3)
(2) Then, in what way did Christ restore the image of God to the saints? It was done in mystical union with Christ through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 13:5).
※Restore the image of Christ. : Putting on the clothes of Jesus Christ (Romans 13:14, Galatians 3:27). It is putting on the new man (Ephesians 4:24, Colossians 3:10). It is to put on the armor of light (Romans 13:12). It is to have the heart of Jesus (Philippians 2:5).
⑶ However, it takes human effort to live in the image of God, that is, in the image of Christ. This does not mean that human effort alone is sufficient. It is to do our best with the help of the Holy Spirit. We must live by the Spirit and walk by the Spirit.
Evangelism is accomplished through the labor of dissolution.
