Let's pray together/James 5:13-16
“Is any of you afflicted, and let him pray…” (James 5:13-16)
Today's text refers to praying together with church leaders for the afflicted and the sick. Rather, God uses the moment of suffering as an opportunity to build up His community. Verse 14 says, “Is there anyone who is sick? Let him call the elders of the church, and they shall pray for him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.”
There is a history of healing when the saints take the leaders of faith, pastors and shepherds and elders and pray earnestly with faith. Such an attitude of praying with the leaders places importance on spiritual relationships. It is wise to invite those who have faith to ask for prayer help, and it will give you a lot of comfort and strength.
Prayer is like the circulation of blood. Prayer is to filter out impurities in the body and supply new energy. Through prayer, we can heal the pain of the community and make the community healthy. The Lord in heaven is still saving us and protecting the saved people through this intercession. It can be said that the Lord's request for intercession from us is to invite us to this noble ministry of the Lord, to rule the world. So, all Christians on this earth should become leaders who serve their neighbors and the world through prayer. If we pray earnestly with the conviction that we can receive answers when we pray, we can receive miraculous answers like Elijah.
He is a person just like us, but he received this answer by praying earnestly and with faith. Please believe that earnest prayer of faith has the power to work miracles. The earnest prayer like Elijah, the earnest prayer like the reformers, and the earnest prayer like Paul accomplish the great miracles of God. Such prayers change history, change others, and change ourselves. We bless you as prayer warriors who make miracles by praying together.
